Yeah, the only people that know / care about this phone are geeks like us. I'm pretty confident I can wait till my girlfriend is on her way home from work (she's the one with the membership) and just grab one at CostCo. Otherwise I'll get one online from vzw.

I wish I could buy mine at CostCo. I don't like the idea of giving the Verizon store or Best Buy an extra ~750 in revenue. ****ers.

Best buy says they have no idea, Kiosk on the military base had no idea.
I just called the Collinsville store and they said Galaxy Nexus sales are on hold until further notice. are you trolling?

honorable mention-- the conversation started out like this:

Rep: "Thanks for calling VZW, are you calling about the new iPhone 4s?"
Me: "Umm, actually no, do you guys have any Galaxy Nexus' in stock?"

Similar to yesterday, i've received a range of responses. One VZW rep was really detailed saying they were in stock and were supposed to launch tomorrow, but has been suspended again. Other idiots said not available, no release date available. The local Costco rep said sometime January/February .

I even called a local RadioShack store posing as an distressed employee of another local store asking for information about the release since the customers were so persistent. One guy said "you didn't get the webmail?" before he figured out I was a troll. Email must have been a last minute DO NOT sell type deal.

Utterly shocked that they didn't immediately try to push the RAZR on you.

I've been persistently calling for the last few days. Not once, by anyone, was the RAZR pushed on me.

Fairview Heights store. My dad went in after work to confirm, they even let him play with it. Also went to the mall, best buy folks were a bunch of a holes and Radioshack has 2 in stock. All confirmed tomorrow though.

90% of this fiasco has to be based on moving as many non ICS phones as possible.

Oh and BTW for those that are bad at dimensions, Yes the Gnex is ****ing thin as ****. Make the TBolt feel like a brick. And despite the larger screen it fits in the hand FAR FAR better than the RZR. Night and day difference ergonomically.
