Anyone going 8-14-02 ? I hope to be there by 4:00PM. I hope my ET's will be lower now that Shiv found some extra ponies.

I need to get back to Sears at some point, but I can't this Wednesday sorry I haven't even taken my WRX their yet.

This is just at night? I thought Sears Wednesdays was midday to night thing. Test and tune earlier in the day, grudge matches at night. (Or is it bracket?)

My friends and I are going... If you guys seen the FC RX-7 that was at the mt hammy meet, he's running. I'm gonna watch cause I'm no drag fan but when my miles grow to be near 10K, then I'll learn to fast shift on the tracks...

Maybe we can meet you there WagonRX, I'm a silver WagonRX myself...

The tube chassy Honda does have something in common with the sears point regular Hondas.. They both gain 10 hp from the H emblem And 15 from type R, but gain in weight so it's sorta evened out..

Makes me wonder what a tube chasis'd, overbored, over charged, H6 with a titanium AWD system would do at the track

Thats like comparing a WRX to the New Age Cusco race car. They share NOTHING in common.
they are both subaru's...they both are powered by a subaru powerplant....its just that one of them is more gifted.

just like steph's aem drag car and a regular honda. they are both honda's...they are both powered by a honda powerplant...its just that one is more gifted.

anyway, my whole point is that how are we gonna show honda's how its done? asides from showing the *******s out there how its done? try showing that 12 sec all motor integra how its done. these cars are 2 different beasts, if your a car enthusiast u gotta appreciate both.

What's up Mike? Haven't seen ya lately.

I can appreciate any fast car but what I was trying to do with that statement was to provoke some Subies to go up there. Last time I went, there were only 3 Subarus and like 60 Hondas. But for the most part, the Hondas were running 16's and 17's and the Subarus were running 13's and 14's.

KAuss, I'll see ya guys up there.

This post wasn't started to beat up on Honda boys so let's all get along and GO RACING !

why would anyone wanna run 12s with an impreza or subaru. the only reason i could think of is to prove whatever gearset they have in their tranny can take the torque.

well, you guys/gals that is gonna go dragging, take care of the tranny.

Ray,

I plan on leaving RWC by 3:00PM but you never know sometimes.

I'd like to run next to a manual WRX to see where the auto slows down at. Curious if at starting line or between shifts and what gears.

I ain't going either, I wasn't gonna run my wagon anyway, but now my friend that was suppose to go to spec with me backed out, so I ain't gonna drive there and pay 10 bucks to spec by myself while my other 2 friends get to waste clutch...

Maybe when I get about 10K on the car I'll go do a stocker run and I'll go again after I get an uppipe, (IF I get an uppipe)

I just love my subby too much to harm it just now... It's still an infant with like 3400 miles

Why can't I not like this car so much so I can actually have some fun with it?

That day that you were gonna go, we ended up going to Sac Raceway. I was the only wrx over there.

Unfortunately it was too hot and I only ran a 13.90.

I might go with you guys on wednesday but, I'll have to see.

Gimme a call (650) 740-9077

Well, I have a HKS downpipe, Boostmonkey, and godspeed uppipe.

I was hoping for 13.6 or less but I guess that didn't happen...hehe.......maybe on a really cold day it will though.

I did manage to pull a 1.9 60ft. which is pretty acceptable to me.

later,

Raymond
