To anyone going to the upcoming UCKK meet 8/13/02

Does anyone have something that will fit an M6 Nylock nut w/ a right angle attachment? I installed my CAI tonight but I can't tighten one of the nylock nuts cuz of the angle w/ the battery, plus I don't have the appropriate socket.

Can anyone bring a tool so I can tighten it down?

I got an AEM intake. You can see it at UCKK

Unless you wanna see it RIGHT NOW heheh

I need to readjust some stuff tho. I put a coupler on too deep onto the MAF sensor plastic holder. so the intake is a little too far to the right. Cuz of that, the coupler that connects to the throttle body fits just barely. I want to move it more securely onto the throttle body.

Also: I LOST MY FRICKEN BATTERY TIE DOWN!!. I took it off and I can't find it!! I think it fell into my engine bay but didn't drop to the ground! ARG

I found the battery tie. I put it in the box the CAI came in but was surrounded by styrofoam packing material

Doh, wish I could help but I have no clue what described beyond it being a thingee I've never even seen much less own...

Good thing you found the tie down though, if things work out I'll be seein ya Tues. Good Luck!

you don't need a wrech...just use good ole glue and racer tape.

we can always use zip ties....

K there is this nut I'm trying to tighten but don't have the proper socket for it. It is described in the instruction sheet as a M6 Nylock nut.

It is a hex nut not sure about the size (I guess M6 describes it?)
Cuz of the proximity to my battery I can't grab it w/ a monkey wrench or anything like that. I need a ratchet for the 90 degree angle. that's it i suppose

okay... I'll just bring a bunch of small metric thingys...

oh... and some zip-ties!

I'm guessing it's a 8 or10mm nut w/6mm threads... might have to take the battery out to make it easier. we'll see

come find me when you get there k?/ I'll be the white WRX wagon with gold JDM 17 5 spokes... tall white guy named Ash

Found this in my garage this weekend:

Anybody want it? I can bring it to UCKK tomorrow.
I lost the screws for it, but shouldn't be too hard to find at home depot or something. Price is: $FREE

Also got a stock 15mm rear sway bar for GC8 if anyone is interested.
