what type of intercooling are you going to do. i would suggest checking out how Ford did the 3.8 supercharged engines in the Cougars and T-birds. flip the blower and use a front or top mount setup

well i timed the motor... going to paint the timing cover because when i got all the grease off this one its nasty looking underneath. sucks.....timed the motor so i would have to take the can sprocket back off to paint that rear piece....quesiton is do i wanna paint it the motor color or just some form of black to freshen it up.

next intake manifold dilema...stupid air assist.
My '91 EJ20G had one. Too bad it is already sold or I would hook you up.

i picked up the other manifold today only to find out it was an air assist manifold... a little disheartening but i have a 99 manifold that ill be grabbing soon and ill be abck in business..... so the powdercoated manifold is for sale

^ :hah: Totally worth it for the Center Tach!!
You know.. I recall somewhere seeing a little device that you wire into your electronic speedo that can automatically adjust from KMH to MPH. It does something to the signal wire that basically makes the needle point to 80kmh, when you are actually doing 80mph. I recall this because I've been driving a Canadian 00RS in the US since 2001.

i dont lol.. like skidd said they make an adapter to go from kph to mph.

i dont believe the speedo should be in the middle. ive races cars my whole life i cant tell you i remember one car racing or working on the had a larger speedo then tach, speedo in more visable placement then the tach, or a car that didnt have a tach in it lol. the tach should ALWAYS be more visable and in proper viewing distance.

so now im on hold. i did everything i could on the motor except put in the oil seperator plate because i need new screws. after that until i resolve what im doing for a manifold im at a standstill. i still need to get the car indoors to start body work too
