Can anyone shed some light on this same exact issue? I just bought a used AP and am having the same exact problem. Updated, and upon install i get a fatal error just as the image above. dongle update not found.....

I know this thread is ancient but I could use some help and COBB support is currently unavailable.

Is it maybe that my dongle is too old to work with the latest firmware now that I updated? Dongle is COBB2 v0.01

I'm almost positive I've plugged my mini USB to USB and connected the dongle to the computer and had the ability to update. I can't remember but try that.

I've tried to update with the dongle connected with the latest version of map manager. It updates the AP but the not the dongle. From my reading I'm one of 7% of people that have a v0.01 dongle that is completely bricked when the new firmware is installed. It has to go back to cobb to be updated as there is no other way to update it. I'm waiting for them to clarify this for me, but I'm sure this is the case at hand.....
