could not find MAF sensor-03 WRX. ANyone?

weird, but i did my wifes 2002 WRX maf sensor clean last time, a year ago,but this time i could not find my 03 wrx sensor. yeah we have 2 WRXs. lol. But I remembered there was a post with pictures of exactly how to clean teh MAF and it was awesome. I unplugged the Denso box, and there was nothing but a plug that went into it. Unless, i have to unscrew the two top screws. Anyone?!

Yes, you have to unscrew the screws and take the whole assembly out to get at the MAF sensor... And the wire if way down in the tube, the bulb is the IAT sensor...

by the way, what is best maf but not OEM? I have damaged maf, cleaning doesn't hels. it has damaged intake air temperature sensor. I'm down on budget right now, so what can be quality alternative to oem?

02 and 03 WRX have the same MAF in the same place.

How did you do one and not know how to do the other?

i guess last time i did unscrew the box to get to the IAT and MAF. I just didnt remember. It'll be OK if i just spray indirectly on the MAF right? i got the CRC cleaner.
