Default 02 WRX in to 04 rs Harness Q?

OK my problem lies here

Im in the middle of doing the swap and im taking the harness out of the receiving car as i planned to just put in the 02wrx harness

Im now finding some of the plugs that were on the 02 wrx are not on the 04rs such as the one leading out to the passenger fender. Is it easier to just merge the harness or swap them out all togther?

some of the wrx parts going in to the car such as wrx seats have more plugs for airbags that the rs seats do will this effect anything by leaving the plugs that were on the wrx unplugged by using a merged rs harness ?

There are very few differences between the '02 and '04 harnesses. I would just merge the parts of the harness that are needed and use the '02 WRX harness as the base. Doing it the other way around you would have to add a lot more wires.

If you use the SRS computer out of the WRX it will be looking for the seat airbags and will cause the SRS light to come on. If you use the RS one the light will not come one.
