Got it in the mail yesterday. It's unmarried for an 02-05 wrx, mines an 04.

Having some issues, don't know if it's me or the port; probably me.

I put the car in test mode, then plug the ap in, it then asks me to pick a map to flash to ecu, I pick one, then it says turn the car completely off then back on, after I do so I just get an error message then it goes back to the prior screen. I've looked everywhere for tips and I just can't seem to get it working.

Help please! Thanks!

Is there anyway way I could tell if maybe it's still married to the previous car?

No, I believe it's good for either '04 or '05 not both, only '02 & '03 years were supported on one AP... It should look like this when unmarried. http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...t=DSC06673.jpg

Okay, it does look like that. I choose a map then just an error message. Frustrating.

Does the part number have to be 'AE-WRX-PORT-04' to be used on an 04 wrx?
