Default Koni Yellow Double Adjustable shocks for MX-5 Miata

I have four lightly used Koni Yellow DA (Double Adjustable) Shocks for a MX-5 Miata (proper fitment for 2006 to 2012). The shocks were driven to and from events only.

History on the shocks:

·2009: Purchased new in spring as single adjustable yellows (part numbers: 8241-1243 and 8241-1244), installed on my 2007 MX-5 MS-R and raced in the Milwaukee SCCA street tire class for the season. Winning the inaugural Street Tire National Championship. (9 total events in 2009)

·2010: in the spring sent to Koni NA: rebuilt and converted to double adjustable with custom tuning, raced that season in C-Stock winning Peru and Blytheville National Tours. Ultimately finishing second in the SCCA Solo National Championship. (11 events in 2010).

·After nationals I removed the shocks during the winter of 2010 and have stored them since.

The shocks are in excellent shape. The only damage was sustained when I disassembled the coil over assembly on F002. I turned the hex on the top of the shaft the wrong direction and rounded it off. The adjuster is not turning freely and will need to be repaired. Lee G. from Koni NA said it will require a new shaft assembly to resolve.

For sale with the shocks are the original boxes, adjusters, and dyno graphs of the shocks when converted in spring 2010.

$800 + shipping

PM me with inquiries, thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Konis should come with a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser or it will transfer to the person who send them in for a rebuild. If you're the original buyer new, then you should be able to get them rebuilt under warranty, paying only for shipping.

Hi The Duke,
Thanks for the post. I don't believe any warranty would apply as I damaged them. If they had failed due to workmanship I would have sent them back and had them repair them under warranty.

Take care,
Chris
