Default Meguiars Heavy Duty Series Headlight Restoration Kit

Bugeyes are now 10 years old, and Subaru Headlights haze rather easily it seems due to the plastic lenses. You might even notice it on newer cars. I was having a really hard time seeing at night due to the amount of haze on my headlights and figured I have to do something about it anyways due to the fact I'm retrofitting them soon. I decided to take the chance and spent the 35 dollars on this package from O'reillys.

In the box you get a buffing pad, a bottle of plastic restorer, a bottle of UV protectant and polish, a microfiber buffing towel, a 1000 grit pad for wet sanding, and a 3000 grit pad.

Here are the before an after shots.

I just wanted to share with AKIC my experience with this product because our headlights take such a beating, from the 24 hour UV sunlight hammering them in the summer to the gravel and sandblasting we take in the winter. It really did a fantastic job and the light output from my halogen bulbs more than doubled. I spent about 30 minutes per light and they turned out great. The instructions are extremely easy to follow and you have quite a bit of product left over to do multiple cars. More light=safer roads. Happy holidays.

Looks great. I got the same results with the $12 turtle wax lense restore kit. Although it was only enough to do 1 set, 2 if you really tried.

Very nice! I bet the output was like night & day. You should have taken before & after shots of the light output.

I know, but I didn't think to take output shots until after the drivers side light was done. sorry guys but trust me the gain in visibility is with it.

Default Great Product

My brother used the same solution on an Acura this past week and was thrilled about the results. Also recommend!
