Default Fastest WRX with just a cat-back?

Is there anywhere I could find the fastest times for WRX's with just a cat-back? 5-speed.

a cat-back isn't gonna give you any more than .1 or .2 off a stock wrx....the piping in the downpipe is where the power can be found. Just a cat-back doesn't open things up

i never gotta chance to hit the track with just my cat back, but there was a noticable difference past 5000 rpm, so the cat back does help free up things a bit (mines a Cobb, 3") but like the above post says, a downpipe would free up much more, its on my to-mod list.

Thats not what I'm asking guys. I know what I ran. I pulled three tenths and added three mph in the eigth mile with my custom three inch cat-back. I was wondering if there was arecord. Because i just busted an 8.8 @77. Totally stock with a catback.

Which cat back?

There are catbacks that make no power.
There are catbacks that loose power.
There are catbacks that make power.

I say the ones that do make power, will put you in 14.1-14.3 sec.

I ran a [email protected] 1/8th and [email protected] mph BONE STOCK.
I can't confirm this but i'm not impressed with the cobb catback. I raced a guy on the street that had it. I had two other guys in the car with me that weighed 190 and 200 respectively. And he never left me. I had crappy launches both times and my bumper was still at his door. So without the extra 400 pounds in the car i would have beat him. Maybe it's his driving but he was racing everyone on the street. He was being stupid too. He was rolling about 15mph and he'd rev the crap out of it and drop the clutch while rolling. He'll be trying to get warranty work soon!

Imprezer,
It's now painfully obivous that you need yet another category within you "quarter mile post registry." And that would be: "STOCK (EJ20) TURBO - MODIFIED - CAT-BACK"
