I like it! Great recipe for a DD. Nice TS 7670 and AC. You have your cake and can eat it too.

Is the Mishimoto radiator stock thickness or thicker like the Koyo? With the thick Koyo and the stock radiaotor fan the fan shroud the passenger side fan was resting directly on the header. I'm sure it wouldn't have lasted as long so I got the Mishimoto fan shroud w/ fans.

Does the replacement board Vipec retain cruise control?

I wish I had some news to report but nothing major has happened with the build.

I installed my Crawford AOS and Innovate LC-1 wideband and got some harness issues cleaned up a bit. I can post pics but I'm tired of the same old no turbo having pics

Bariga, can you snap a pic of the clearance you have between you headers and the stock passenger side radiator fan? Thanks.

Once I get the turbo I need to fab up the oil and coolant lines, make an intake and I'll be ready to fire her up.

I'm going to put on an old set of coilovers and replace my brake fluid this weekend but besides that, nothing to see here

i like my efr, ran same power as 35R with 5 psi less boost and made over 60tq and 40whp at 4k rpm vs 35R.

Its good to hear you were able to break 500whp on this little old 7670. I'm starting to question my block more and more everyday. I need to get Dom to put a LR 2.35 together for me.

Nice!! Ill definitely be interested to see that graph. On 92 also haha.. wonder what E85 will get on that dyno with same-ish boost levels? Close to 575 I'd imagine.

Ive been offered a chance to proto type a quick spool valve to close off one pf the ports on the Turbo during spool up. Then open once at set boost levels.

What are your guys ' thoughts on that?

If you hit 28psi with yours by that soon... I think it'd be overkill. But I'm also all about innovation and moving that curve left!

Layvon.

Sorry Kelly - didn't mean to jack.

But if I went with the quick spool valve yes I would. It'd be one tube with a T4 flange, one with flapper one without.

I'm torn, but leaning towards KISS. The thoughts of innovation tempt me, as I've never seen one period, let alone on a Suby.

No worries about jacking it in my thread. I don't have anything to add to it and I'm sure it'll get on track the second I get results.

A little birdy, in the know how on EFR's, talked me out of a 7670 and to an 8374 for my 2.1L stroker. Said that transient response was so close that the added power of the 8374 outweighed the response. We'll see...once of these years when I can get one

Someone brought the flapper idea up in my build thread a couple years ago and mentioned how supra guys have been using them with great results. Since then, I've been curious how they'd do on our long header/uppipe subaru's.

November, December, January, February, March now April. . . Plus 4-8. Yippie skippy. My patience will run low by august and ill hop online and get a gtx35r probably with free 2 day shopping or something. Borg isn't doing themselves favors. I understand moving plants takes time but...those first few turbos are such a tease!

I have about 2 more months of wait left in me. If I can't get a definitive answer on when I can expect my turbo I'm going gtx or anything else. This wait is ridiculous.
