Thumbs down It's about that time

It seems to me like it's time for another supermeet . I was thinking that we should have it in mid-October on the 19th(saturday) or so. What does everyone else think? Also I liked Red Rocks, but if anyone has a better location, that would be cool.

Talking

Nick,
how about the week before or the week after. Terri has to work that weekend. Other than that, Sat or Sun works for me.

I think we should do a canyon run just like this past weekend at the "mini meet". IMHO you can only stand around looking at everyone's car for so long.

Your right, but! at bigger meets more cars show up and it is most likely the last time we will see the cars this year. Now I know you want to show off those new brakes you'll be putting on, and I'm sure other people will have goodies to show off as well.

I agree with the "you can only stand around and look at/talk about subies for so long", but I also think the meet will be too big for a canyon run. We should go someplace where we could do stuff too.

Anyone ever been up to a place called "Boondocks"? I've heard good things, but never been there. A giant RMIC go-kart race could be fun (and even up the field for those of us with few mods ) Just thinking aloud.

Well we could always split up cars and go in like groups of 10 in the mountains like we did this weekend? I have been to Boondocks and its tons of fun but can be pricey. They have go karts, mini golf, boats, batting cages I believe.

I'll hang with the stock car/stock tires crew

Judging from all the mods on your cars, most of the people in RMIC have money.

Boondocks would be cool, but if everyone thinks that standing around and talking Subies(Is that all you talk about?) is boring, then I guess there is no need to have large meets. It seems like there isn't much support for the idea so I'll drop it.

Nobody said it was boring man. I just get the feeling we need some variety here to keep things interesting. Last weekends mini meet was a good change with the drive and videos we watched.

Variety is good, but these meets aren't often. You may think the last supermeet was not that long ago because of the mini meet at Harveys(bless his heart) but when you think about it, I propose only the third one all year. And it's still two months away. We had one in March and one in July, I wouldn't think with that kind of spacing it would be repetitive, but I am wrong.

Nick C.
I wish I had planned a meet at the go-kart track in Erie, but I was trying to accomidate the varying geographic locations of people.

Nick,
I think everyone here appreciates you getting these meets started. I know that I really look forward to your "super-meets". I love hanging out and checking out everyone fantastic rides. I am up for just about anything. I just like to see all the new toys everyone has done since the last meet.

Of course anyone can come! Last one we had there were 30 or 40 impreza's out there, and that's not counting the Ft. Collins crew who showed/didn't show from a mixup.

Not like Texas Tech is anything special Phil. That's two for the week before, so maybe that is the special date.

Definately don't cancel it!!! We're just saying that we'd like a spot with some alternative activities we could do together after we all get bored of seeing each other's mods.

You are more than welcome. Come out.

There is one rule though. If you don't own a scooby, you have to stick an STi badge on whatever car you are driving.

Well lets plan it for October 12th then. I'll have to check on the Boondocks thing.
