From what I remember it was only $5 to park, and is by far the best show of the year. And go figure, a car show where its light enough to see the :gasp: CARS!!!

Not that I've been there or anything, but typically when it's a tuner's show, there is some sort of racing at the event (not that Harper would let anyone go more then 15 in their lot tho).

nick,

it's free admission.
we're charging $3 a car for parking...

this show is funded by the small number of local sponsors and some other sponsors...

we need to collect $3 a car in order to regain our cost for the parking lot...

please e-mail me directly at btlshow@hotmail.com if you have any further questions.

Thanks!

8Complex, I appreciate your um.... supportive words.... in realistic, this show will be the test for next years event. with enough interest and participation in this year's show, we will have an autoX event in conjunction with our show for next year. of course it won't be held at Harper College... if you have any suggestions, we'd love to hear them... creative comments and suggestions help.

you guys also have to remember that we do this for the local scene... a lot of money comes out of our pocket to fund this show, we do this for you guys. especially since every year, people constantly complain about HIN... so, we'd appreciate your support for our show.

Like BTL's motto says "For Tuners by Tuners"

Just got back from the BTL show. I got there hella late (3:30 pm) but I did see some decent cars. Not that much ryce so that was nice. The Bit Charger races were pretty funny...too small though. I saw some clean JDM Civics/Integras and a few nice 7's. Just a couple Scoobies though.

Atleast you could see all the cars not like HIN.

I got dragged there... oh yeah, excellent.

Parking was $5, not $3.

95% of the cars didn't have their hoods open... personlly I like to see what they've got, not what body mods they have.

There was really bad music playing really loud, and some guys trying to sing along with it really badly.

The organization was that of "pick a spot and back in".

Other then that, I thouroughly enjoyed the show. It was a gorgeous day.

BTW, what the hell is with all the H/A's with T4's? Do they EVER reach the effeciency range of the turbos?
