n20x3whitewrx:

with your set you need to lighten your car quite a bid or get rid of your rims when you race. with the correct tire size and weight combinations you can drop up to 3 tenths with ease. its all physics. the extra rotational weight creates tons of weight to your car. with different rims ( stock ) , lighten up your car, and a 24 fuel and 39 nitrous your should be close. take in mind my car is exremely light. lets say about 400 lbs lighter than most people when i race. heres the math:

only run 2 gallons of fuel. the other 13.9 gallons weigh about 112 pounds.

front seats removed 48 pounds each. momo race seat and bracket put in: add 19. 77 pounds

rear seats, deck lid, underseat bar, rear seat bar, rear seat belts
45 lbs

spare tire, stereo, jack, tools, trunk interior 100 lbs

rear bumper support, rear sway bar and front sway bar 42 lbs

front crossmember and motorcycle battery 50 lbs

there are some other things but i cannot remember.
its all about the weight. taking 400+ lbs drops major time. the only problem is that the car feels almost too light. with my 95 shot of nitrous the car fishtails when i slip the clutch at 3000 rpm and burns out all the way until i shift. then the entire car fishtails into second. too much power can hurt you if you have crappy stock tires. i was suppose to have nitto or bfg drag radials but i could not get them in time.

Stealth, thanks for coming out we hope to see you at the next $1000.00 dollar race.
For all you that haven't seen his car run, it's a definite must. The car is bad to the bone, and he has the right philosophy.

Thanks again.

You are nuts! This is my favorite part though. Congrats!

BTW: Never say never! When it came to nitrous, it have never (or should I say 'not ever'?) worked for me.

Ya, same thing. Wondering if its a "stock" modified turbo. Or stock from the factory turbo?

Nice times either way though.

yea thats true, I would love to see an all motor, stock unmodified turbo run low twelves, but I dont think its possible w/o massive weight reduction do to the limits of the td04

if you could have pulled a 1.6 60' then you'd be in the 11s

my turbo is bone stock. there are a million people to back me up on this so i dont even need to prove my self. with out nitrous i hit 12.8s all day long. the key here is weight reduction. friday i ran an 1/8 mile time that would have easily been in the 11's but then again it was only the 1/8 so there is no proving grounds there.

i pulled about 450 pounds out of the car. most of the weight was my stereo i had, the two front seats, rear bumper support, and front cross member. i removed 112 pounds just in fuel.

I don't care about N20 ... i wanna know your run without it.

12.8 ... with stock ecu....I have no doubt that the FM gave you nice benifits with yoru charge ... but I have WAY more mods then you and I don't come close to 12.8....even with a 1.9 60ft. I'm curious what your 60ft was and your MPH

and let me tell you ... I get out the efficency range of that turbo ultra fast. I've been pondering turning down the boost so I can stay in that sweet range longer. I have it set to 16. Next time I'll mimic you and try 14 and see if that can keep there longer...

remember that the 12.8 times are with about 450 lbs removed.

12.5 -12.6 is with full interior and 50 shot nitrous

12.06 with not interior and a 95 shot.

So with JUST a boost controller., GS...fuel pump, new intake, and a FMIC, you can run 13.1's ?

What do call that stuff that falls from under the tail of a Brama?
