My car was stollen today!!!

Remember that one time when I was driving my car around being like..."Yea...Im driving my car!!!" Well, not anymore.

My car was stollen from Auroria campus down in Denver today, between 10:00am and 12:30pm. I was parked in the $2.50 lot kitty-corner from the parking garage. There was no glass on the ground and yes...I did lock my car and all windows were up. The cop said this happens sometimes down here and usually its just some kids who take it for a joy ride until the car runs out of gas and they ditch it somewhere.

I'll attach a picture of my car. If anybody see's it call the police right away. Lic plate # 870-CUT

Larry, could you please make this a sticky for a couple of days...Please!!!!

PS. I did see alot of Roo's on the road on the way home in my dads car. Sedona coupe GC8 and a black wrx on the ramp from I-25 to I-70. A couple going east on I-70 and debadged BRP GC8 on I-70 and Ward

I dont know what really to do. My insurance company has to wait until they get the case from the police dept which could take a couple days. So what do you think, should I start looking into getting another car or should I wait a little bit first?

If anyone finds my car, I'll buy them their favorite case of beer!!!!

did u have allot of money invested in your car(aftermarcet products). you should probably start looking for it. most of the time the cars are beaten to **** and better to get a new one!

sorry man, that sucks. i go to school down there and work downtown, i'll be watching. no permission needed, i'm gonna mess this guy up. i would wait before i bought a new car, it might show up soon. don't do that yellow theme on a car, it attracks too much unwanted attention.

damn...that really sucks. If it's in that lot, they've been casing it for a while. Try the dealership and look for any copies of your keys that might have been made. Look at as many security videos you can stick your nose into. Check the for sale classifieds, too! Even on campus. There's a thread floating around of a guy who was stupid enough to sell parts on the same board he stole the car from! (Some kind of RX7) Get 'em!

I've never even read about an RS being stolen in Denver.

They say if you dont get your stolen car back in 24-48 hrs then its gone forever

I am still waiting on the insurance company to mail me forms, other than that....still waiting.

Sorry to hear that. It has caused me to wonder a little, though. How much, if any, will insurance pay for aftermarket parts?

I know that the first day I moved to Tucson, AZ (years ago) my car was broken into in broad daylight while I was in a book store! They took my cd player and some cds that were under the seat (not a good hiding place). Insurance covered everything.

Anyway, whether you find it or not, consider installing Lo-Jack in your car if you get it back, and certainly in the next car you get.

Basically, it's a hidden transmitter unit that's installed in your car, so if it's ever stolen, you just call the police, have them activate your lo-jack unit, and the police work with the lo-jack computers to track the location of your car.

Oh yea......guess what Im driving now......a 2002 Toyota Carolla. This thing's a beast, nothing can stop it. Auotmatic, everything inside is manual....even the side veiw mirrors. AM/FM radio.

This car is what my insurance company said "resembled my car" as in performance, looks, and class. POS I say
