Default IPR TMIC for 02-07 WRX/04-07 STi (Huge!)

SOLD

For sale is an Import Performance Research Top-Mount Intercooler (TMIC) coated with black heat dispersant paint for an 02-07 WRX/04-07 STi... Looking to get 250 shipped for this (relatively firm, but open to offers in that area), essentially exactly what I paid for it last month...

I bought this off of azncitydan a few weeks ago [thread] but decided to go a different route. I had it on my STi for around three weeks, and it ran perfectly for every minute. It DWARFED the STi TMIC... Install went very easily -- perfect fitament. It took only around 30 minutes or so.

As you can see.. the dimensions are exactly the same as a Perrin TMIC (I measured it, but unfortunately don't have pictures of it) -- this thing is huge!

I am including some very nice aluminum and silicone tubing Y pipes:

When I got the piece, it had very minimal bent fins.. Using my magical OCD powers, I spent an hour or two perfecting the rest on both the front and back:

When I ran it on the car, it would remain cold to the touch even after many spirited pulls or idling around the city for a bit.

See a couple more pics here:

Thanks for looking! Send me a PM if interested and we can work out a deal!

Check out my other threads for other stuff I'm selling! (AccessPort, misc exhaust parts, etc)

AC line hit that thing? What about strut tower bars?

I had no problems with the AC lines rubbing against it. Even during the install, it went in without a hitch. I've struggled with getting TMICs installed before, but this one went in and came off within a matter of minutes. It literally took me more time to get the stock TMIC out than to install this one in its place.

I don't have a strut tower bar so I can't comment on that, but if you can find info on whether or not the strut bars you're using clear the Perrin TMIC, they should clear this one just fine. I compared the Perrin TMIC directly to this, and they match on pretty exactly in terms of core size.
