Thinking of doing a ruckus run/warrior dash/tough mudder one of those types of races.

Also break under 200 by memorial day.

Deadlift over 400, squat over 375, SOHP 135 x 10 easily and generally just get my bench up.

You all weren't kidding about the midnight EST thing.

I really just wanted to squat 225 this year, but perhaps I could aim a bit higher. Entering a meet, wearing shiny disco shorts, and growing a beard are also on the list.

Awesome. You'll succeed. Hopefully not with the beard, tho I suspect you could do it before fetus could, since we expect his balls will drop ~2018 or so.

I'm back in. Goals:

Hit my former maxes of 245/445/500 and lean out quite a bit.

First step is starting a new job in mid-January that will allow me to bike to work. Should do wonders for my fitness.

Some goals are carrying over, but my big new one is to compete in an Olympic lifting competition. I would love to total 200kg (snatch/C&J) at some point this year

2011 left me with:
Squat: 325
Bench: 175*4
Deadlift: 400
5k: <27min
BW:~170

2012:
Squat: 365
Bench: 235
Deadlift: 450
5k< 25min
BW: Higher without much more bf

Hopefully I can achieve that before the end of the world.

main goal- make it to the gym regularly all year- my new gym should help with that

I want to finish this year's tough mudder in sub 4.5 hours (that'll be tough since my main job for this one will be to make sure my best friend finishes).

Speaking of- 2k2- if you want to ease into it- Warrior Dash is super easy compared to the Tough Mudder. Not sure about the Ruckus Run, but it's definitely easier than the mudder

My goals:

Hard to say, like I said, I haven't been to the gym regularly in a while-

SOHP: 180+
Bench: 250+ (I know I have this, I just have to find my form- same old problem every year)
DL: 450+
Squat: not sure on this- haven't squatted in 2+ years, but I think I want to try it again

weight: 180

The wife and I got a new-years baby at 1:40am last night. My immediate goal is some sleep and somehow survive taking care of my other two children with no wife support for a few days!

After that:
SOHP: 160 (carryover from last year goal)
Deadlift: 405 (hopefully won't be too tough, already at 390)
Bench: 225 (carryover from last year goal)
Squat: 315 (got this once in 2011, but then cut some weight and dropped down to a 280 1RM at year end)

I would also add: enter a meet, but I'm not sure money/time are going to allow that right now. Maybe in 2013 (Assuming the Myans are wrong)?

Simple goal of staying in the gym 3-4 times a week. Other goal would be running a 5k with my GF, preferably at around 25 minutes. Big accomplishment considering this mentality:

Pardon the horribleness of the picture. This was about 12 captain and cokes into the evening.

Como estas b*tches!!

2011
Bench 90-155
Squat 180-300
DL 160-300
BW 135-162

My 2012 goals
Bench 200+
Squat 400

Still going for 170-175 for the next 3 months in BW and then I will cut down to 160 if all goes well.

Y'all have been some great help for me in the last year, lets make 2012 the year of the meatheads
