We will have some pics up soon. Still waiting on the magazine coverage before we can post them.

No pics of the subframe yet.

The wing mounts are custom made.

Do you have to use the subframe if you lower your car with ohlins coils?

You don't have to use the subframe at all, but it has many advantages.

1. Much stiffer construction leads to more forces being transferred to the chassis instead of into bending and twisting the subframe. This makes for a much more responsive and precise handling car.

2. Corrected suspension geometry for lowered cars. Allows for adjustment to roll center and couple in the cases of 1" or 2" lowering. Perfectly matches to MSI height adjusted trailing arms.

3. Solid diff mounting for outstanding throttle response.

The differences between the MSI subframe and stock is immediate and well worth the cost on track focused car.

FYI everyone, that frame in the photo above is R6 or R7 ... current production is R20, and about 10lbs lighter than the one in the picture.

It was an honor and pleasure to help you guys get the goods needed for the Sebring pits engine rebuild.

To this day it's my favorite series of phone conversations of all time.

Drew, what took you so long, we've had the engine apart for an hour!
Time frame: Crank broke 10am - Car driving around the paddock 10pm.

That Sebring event alone is one of the huge reasons why I love TiC. The engine, the axles, the radiator swap all on top of the heat. Nothing could stop you guys that weekend!!

Top Racing Scoob without a doubt.

The Rotas have been good for racing? If they are good enough for you all, I probably should take a look into them as well. They look great.

I'm curious as far as to what was done exactly to modify it. I am assuming it is modified to keep it from leaking, but any way you could share?

We have been using Rota Wheels for over 8 years on various forms on many different cars and have never had a problem. Have even done endurance racing on them with no issues. They are strong and last despite what some people may say.

Hit up Wheeldude for the best deals and service around when it comes to Rotas. Zoeb is the man!

I'll see if I can take a pic of it at some point to show. There is a port on the side that we drilled out, filled the port on the bottom and crushed the top slightly. We love it for the bling factor and so far it has held up to 35 pounds of boost without issue.

BTW, progress has started for the 2012 build. I will be starting a thread soon on it, but here's a teaser:

-low mount 40R turbo
-major weight reduction
-NO intercooler

Yeah I would like to see it. I'm an advocate of stock BPV as well and I wouldn't mind seeing how to modify my own so I can be sure it will handle more boost.
