Default changing oil, how to remove plastic shield

right under the bumper there is a plastic shield held in by 2 bolts and a bunch of "things" that look like buttons with little rings around them. They are holding the plastic and I don't know how to get them off.. do they just pry off? or do they have some way to screw them off.

You don't need to remove the plastic sheild to change your oil. When you loosen the oil filter, just have a pan underneath and the oil will leak down the filter and into the pan. No oil should get on the shield. . .I've done 3 oil changes and never had to remove the shield.

Actually. . if you want to remove the plastic shield, it's 4 pop-clips and 3 screws that you need to remove.
