Default Random mis-fire issue

I had a Subaru specialist check out my car and was not able to find out what is going on so I'm posting on here to see if someone can help me out. The history, my car has 159k on it and had no issues at all with mis-fires until after I did my headgaskets. The thing that drives me crazy is that the car ran perfectly fine for two days after doing the head gaskets. Then it started to have a random misfire every once in awhile while idling, no big issue. Drive it back home to Georgia (from Wisconsin) and the mis-fire gets so bad that the car is barely driveable under 3k. Once I hit 3k it runs perfectly fine. Also while it is mis-firing while idling, if I just slightly touch the gas pedal it will stop and run perfectly smooth. The specialist I had check out my car said that he was getting codes from my IAT and MAP sensors. So just today both sensors came in from the warehouse. Plugged them in with the battery off and the car started up and ran perfectly fine until it warmed up and started to slightly mis-fire. Drove for a mile and it was back to its normal misfire. Has anyone else had this issue? What can I do? The sparkplugs are brand new NGK iridiums and I had just changed out the wires a year ago. The mis-fire is inconsistent as well, there are times where it will idle or drive without a mis-fire but then once it mis-fires once it goes back to normal. Thanks for any help!

Vacuum leak?

That thing got an EGR valve on the back of the intake manifold? If so, yank it off and clean it out, see if it's got a good seal. I've had one come in with multi cylinder misfires and it turned out to be the EGR valve not closing.
