Looking for a decent set of 225/45/R17 tires near Raleigh, NC. Would prefer summer tires but I'm open to other options as I need to pass inspection. Thanks!

I have a set of 225/45/17 Star Specs mounted on 04 Sti wheels. They have one HPDE and maybe 1000 street miles on them and look practically new. I was planning to list the wheels with tires for $1200 but if you just wanna buy the tires, I will sell them seperately. I live 45 minutes east in Wilson. Wheels and tires have been stored indoors always.

How much are you looking to spend? I have a couple of sets of 225/45/17 tires that I might sell. One set is Bridgestone RE960 all-seasons, the other is Continental DW summer tires. Both around half tread depth remaining.

I have a set of 215/45 17'' OEM Potenzas that should JUST barely pass inspection. They are mounted though.

I'm in Cary myself, perhaps we can pop them on to get your car inspected at the jiffy lube up the street and buy you some time to get tires you want?
