had a new bumper/crash beam made for my front mount. wanted something that would actually protect the front end better than the flimsy replacement beam that came with the kit.
used 1.5" 1/4 wall DOM tubing and some 3/16" plate to make the crash beam.

dont worry about the overhang, it was capped off and connected to the plate. just didnt take a pic of it

A similar person with similar training in a similar situation would do the same thing. Also know as common sense to some.

I think you're thinking more of objective reasonableness, due regard is more about the safe operation of a vehicle and the safety of others

Default GPS Mount

So I've always hated how my gps falls off of the dash mount or the window so after seeing some of the mounts others on here have come up with I decided I'd take a crack at it. I started by taking off my sun visor since I cant use it anyways because I'm tall and it only blocks my vision. The mount is very rigid making it easier to work with than the mount that it came with. Let me know what yall think. Sorry for the iphone pics.

Looks awesome!

Only concern from there is, how are you going to charge your GPS while driving?

I have the cord running up the a pillar I just hadnt done it yet at the time that I took those pictures. Its also painted black now since I'm going to recover the headliner with suede. But I'm waiting to do that till I finish milling the mounts and cross bars out of solid aluminum for my custom roof rack. Dont want to have to take all that down more than once haha

Not really, but if yours isn't working, some reported the solder of the resistors get cracked up / separated from the print

I basically only extended the display

White carbon fiber overlay applied to my 02 WRX wagon.

Next step is to wet sand the 6 coats of clear coat that was applied to the carbon. Fun, Fun.

I'm on a roll lately! Installed this rear view camera. Why? Because for $17 I couldn't say no.

My radio had an input for a rear view camera so I got one off of eBay. Basically just ran a wire from the radio back to the camera, Hooked up the reverse sensor wire and power wire from the camera to the reverse lights and bam! Now everyone I engage reverse the camera automatically turns on and when you take it out it turns off. It's pretty sweet, I can take a idea if you'd like.

Looks good, but maybe you should get a fisheye lens for it, because it doesnt look as usuable if just a small image.

Just my 0.02 though.
