Thank you very much. Here is the best picture I have right now. The front is tucked up behind the diff, I drilled two holes in the material and put two huge zipties around the swaybar. I didn't want to drill or put any holes in the body if I didn't need to. It has held up to 150 mph and over 100 mph on mutiple occasions. I dont know if it actually does anything but it looks good.

I was going to go with abs but the place I bought the material from suggested this stuff. It is called Celtic, it is expanded PVC and is used as signboard material. There is different thicknesses and I went with 1/4" in black. It is awesome to work with. It molds with heat, it can be welded and painted.

My first attempt at making a reverse scoop insert for my 2011 WRX failed back in January. I decided to give this another shot once the weather warmed up and here's where I'm at now. Still needs at least another layer of bondo and a whole lot more sanding to get it ready for paint. I'll have more pics once it's done.

Test fit:

I've been eyeing this, although not for my '11 WRX, for my Saabaru! Keep posting pics, the new design looks better.

Wait, what? Are you rolling with 2 hood scoop and a FMIC?
Nice work on the lights, but the two different colors of blue do clash a bit. But the lights do match your suspension, so that's good.

Its a WRC hood vent. I just haven't put the trim on yet. I think it would be a bit better if I used wrb but didn't have any at the time.

Dont listen to the haters. They just don't know what lies beneath

The wrc hood looks dope, and allows your fmic to breathe better

Any plans on going V-mount to complement the wrc hood?

lol wow if you think my ride is beat you haven't been into cars very long. This isn't a show car and never will be lol. I've been through so many setups in the last year its not worth fixing all the holes and dents until I'm satisfied with my setup. Plus not all of us want car payments

Thats for damn sure! I can't wait to get an engine built so really beat this 6 speed. I do plan on going v-mount but not for a long long time. I'm about to start focusing on getting a nice house for my wife and I.

Test fit for the vent.

Honestly, id paint it if you can, or paint your hood scoop black.

The only thing that looks a little beaten up is the fmic piping.

Touch up the Paint on that (or strip the flaking black paint off and leave it aluminum), and ur car will look good.

Final option could be to water wrap your fmic piping like you did ur lights.

small suggestion... due to your bumper not offering any protection for your FMIC piping, if/when you do fix the paint on them wrap the first elbow and pipe with clear bra vinyl. It will allow the paint job to stand up MUCH better against stones and rain and crap.

just a small .2 cents.

It's not bright and shiny anymore, but I'd say it looks well-used, not beat.

Just an FYI I have one of those WRC Hood Vents in my car. It a major issue for engine bay temps if your running the normal TMIC Scoop, and if your running a TMIC it will actually make the TMIC freaking hot. My TMIC temps in 30-40 degree weather were 100 or more during normal highway cursing, and it will not cool down. Now that the temps are up in the 50-70 here in PA my TMIC temps are 130 at highway....cant wait to get rid of it!!

All it does is pull the heat off the radiator and exhaust manifold and pump it into the TMIC Scoop. Along with that, I have had it on my car for 5-6 months and my Alt and PS Pump are shot due to water contentiously dripping on them and rusted the barrings. IMO if your going to keep it and the TMIC Scoop weather FMIC or TMIC make it non functional.

Seems to be kind of a silly move to run both.....an evo uses the reverse to get air (heat) out with a FMIC, but the scoop comes right after that on this subie. Doesn't that make the whole hood counterproductive? (honestly asking)

Would be true without the vent right after it to allow the heat right back in.
