Have you ever seen a Subaru WRC car? I am guessing not.

Not arguing that with a FMIC, the hood scoop is no longer necessary. It is also not free to swap the hood or do some other means of removing the hood scoop.

Worked on this yesterday. I took the vacant slots near the license plate and made some plastic brackets to hold in place some LEDs to serve as DRLs.

DIY, for those interested, is here: LINKY.

Lol white mustache! I love it! Thank you for that. If you feel like doing it, click on the link for the DIY. I noted what size I used plus there's more pics there.

A little double sided tape to hold the orb in place and it works perfectly. I'm using "Automagic" app to make it connect to the JVC unit and play my tunes using google music. So simple but it works brilliantly.

Can you tell me if this is actively charging your N4?
I've heard a lot of people saying they're barely holding the charge at a steady percentage, never mind actually gaining %, if they're using it for music/navigation while driving.

If so, what's the model of the USB power that's supplying you with enough juice? Thanks!

I installed blue led's under the dash where your feet go. These are the only lights I've added to the car. I think it adds a nice touch without being overkill.

It is indeed that bright in person. I tapped into the dome light though so they only light up when the car is unlocked with the remote and when the doors are opened.

You can use the switched ground with the doors which is the blue wire (I think it's solid blue) in the passenger side A pillar. That will make it light up the same as if the dome light was selected in the middle. If you want it to also be either always off or always on with the dome light switch, you have to actually tap into the wires coming off of the dome light switch.

That's not too bad. I did that in my 2g eclipse back in fast n furious days lol. I think pure white LEDs would look better.

How to do it.

Step 1: Remove dome light cover. (Plastic tabs hold it into place)

http://s1364.photobucket.com/albums/...ps87d4a010.jpg

Step 2: Remove either the passenger or driver side b-pillar (it doesn't matter which) The bottom of the b-pillar pops right off and the top has 1 bolt (for the seatbelt) and I believe it has two plastic tabs.

http://s1364.photobucket.com/albums/...psa6ce1e3f.jpg

Step 3: Remove the plastic trim where the bottom of your door and floor meet (to hide the wires)

http://s1364.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3bddc549.jpg

Step 4: Using a metal hanger (easy to bend) run the wire that you're wanted tap into the dome light from your b-pillar over to the dome light above the headliner, in the roof.

Step 5: wire the under dash lights at the dome light and use shrink tube to hold the wires in place.
