Aren't you worried that the airflow directly in front of the stock scoop will then create positive pressure and force air out the stock scoop... basically eliminating the air flow from the TMIC?

I love the website autospeed.com (basically an Australian eMagazine).

Check this link: http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_112920/article.html

You should get one of those pressure gauges to measure positive and negative pressure to see if your holes and scoops are affecting your engine.

Thanks for the info bro... I'll def look into that. I do know the baffle seals pretty good around the tmic.

def food for thought!

I dont do too many high speed runs on the autobahn lol but hopefully the pressure isnt off too much.

Custom Cobb air box top I made. Cut the plexi glass with a water jet and wrapped it in 3m Di-noc Carbon Fiber vinyl. Stole the idea but I think it looks sharp.

I'm so jealous. I just bought a graco car seat and thought it looked cool because it matches (black and red) but this, THIS is awesome! Well done, lad.

Sometimes it's the simple things that make us happy. :-) I also have 12" red led front footwell led's installed, my Pioneer changes to match the red and the SMY cluster with Prosport red/amber gauges also. Possibly a red theme going on..... Not sure how unique it is but I haven't see anyone do this on NASIOC so I thought I'd post it.
Also, I wired these to the power window switched 12+ so they come on with the key and I didn't have to wire them through the door and into the car.

Not so unique but a total pain in the donkey...removed side badges, primed, painted.....then the not so fun part of dabbing red paint into the WRX emblem area with a large toothpick. Then coats of clear coat.....came out good in the end and I didn't have to spend $50 on WRX SE black ones.(clear coat not done in pic)
You should make a detailed thread about how you did this. I love the small details like this. Although I have an 02 wrx I think I could make it work if you found a way.

Finished it up today! I have a ton of more pictures and could probably do a write up if people are interested enough for me to go so. I'll just post the finished product pictures and see what you guys think!

I had to cut out a square in the middle so when the gauges go in there they have clearance. I also cut a smaller hole in the back for the wires to go through.

To paint it I used Restoleum truck bed liner and it's a pretty close match for coming straight out of a can. Once it dried I hit it with some 1500 grit sandpaper to knock down some of the roughness and make it feel more like the OEM dash.

Interior shot

How far the compartment opens with the gauge pod on top.
