Being FMIC'd on my 05 sti, I had an open line where the I/C spray water would come out for the TMIC setup. I ran a line down the side of the fender into the front bumper. Snagged some windshield washer spray nozzles at the junkyard, as well as a "Y" splitter and put in the end of the line. Viola! Cheap, and functional FMIC spray setup.
In the pictures I pulled them out of the mounting spot so you can see them better. I was able to get them tucked behind the license plate mounting area, so they are hidden normally. ![]() ![]() The spray is a little "weak" as the water has to travel from the resovoir in the trunk, to the front of the car, down into the bumper and out of two nozzles. It sprays a little better out of just one sprayer, more of a trickle with both, but when driving it goes onto the fmic. |

Justy steering wheel emblem. Used a small bolt and JB weld to attach bolt. Then added it to my siebon cf grill on my 05 WRX wagon.. Enjoy.

Yah it was bought as a winter beater..turned out to be a beater all right..but in the end it was what made me buy my Subie, so win win I guess. Now it has a retro fitted Volvo based garret turbo... |

i could just tell from the urs4 wheels. audis are tough as they are POS's if they aren't/havent been taken care of. My frustration with them got me into subies also. still have the audi though. she is a beater, and a pain in my ass.

Thanks! Regarding the center beam, I plan to keep it there; our bumper covers are loose and raggedy enough as is, removing that beam would make it even weaker. I'll also have a pair of hella Black Magic 500's in the grill, so it won't look out of place with the center beam there. My hella horns are now located in the lower grill area until I can find a better mounting spot

It looks like it SHOULD be fine, but I'm just a little paranoid about crumple zones and stuff, ya know? What did you use for the mesh if you don't mind my asking?
Here's a better crop if that'll help! ![]() Last edited by garudatwo; 10-02-2012 at 03:06 PM. |

I see. Mine is still plenty firm, no weird issues. Too bad I live 2000 miles away, I'd show you what mine looks like.
