Are you using LED strips as angel eyes or is that how the halo lights actually look? Not my style, but you did a very clean job on it sir!

to avoid being shamed in traffic: you should re-order 8X of whatever you used. lay them atop one another to achieve the "continuous LED bar" appearance.

or dont. the originals will burn out before christmas. sorry to be dour.

the below: lasted five weeks before 3-led segments burned out or started flickerinjg\

I would drop the ones on the inside. Next to the grill. It makes it look like a girl's eyeliner...

How does MB get away with using LED strips like that without burning them out? Special harness/controller/led strips?

impressive, regardless. taking that thing out [without becoming enraged and ripping it] is really hard, and installing it has got to be worse...

lets get them sunvisors next =]
Correct I did the A B C pillars my self. I took it to a upholstery shop because I to do not like custom car shops. Make sure you eat foam backed auto grade suede. Another plus is it made a very noticeable difference in road noise. It is pretty quiet in the car now and I can use my Bluetooth without people thinking my windows are down.

I called around to different upholstery shops and got quotes from $80-$160 but ended up getting charged $60 when I picked it up because he forgot what e quoted me. It probably didn't take them more then 10 min to lay it down.

Just teasing, surprised nobody beat me to it.

Sorry I have nothing new to add to the thread, though I did wash my car, and that is very unique, and custom, since I did it by hand. First. Time. Ever.

They where just theses led rings that I found on eBay for 8 bucks and the led strips where about 18 dollars, so for around 30 dollars I could pass it up!

If i'm going through the trouble of pulling my headlights, opening and modding them, it wouldn't be for a $30 mod. Way too much of a pain in the ass process when you inevitably have to fix it.

I just bought a black sheet of 1/8" ABS from ebay. They don't vary that much.

My bad... Didn't understand what you meant by trim.

They're wrapped in 3M Scothprint matte black.
