you should find a way to tilt it a bit so that the itouch stays in the horizontal mode.

Yeah then you can have fun trying to take corners fast enough to make it briefly flip vertical.

I can lock it in portrait or landscape mode, that part's figured out. Problem is that the coverflow sucks so locking it in landscape mode makes it...useless. I'm waiting for the nocoverflow tweak to be updated for iOS6, since back in iOS5 it allowed you to have the music app in landscape mode without coverflow being activated.

Complete RFID hands free keyless entry and push button start tied into a compustar full alarm and remote start system and a DEI window roll up module. The key tag stays in my wallet.

I walk up to the car and the doors automatically unlock (alarm disarms). I get in, put my foot on the brake (and clutch) and press the button once to start it (starts off a tach signal so there is no need to hold the button at all). Then when I arrive, I hold the button 2 sec. to shut it off, get out of the car, and once I'm roughly 5' from the car it automatically locks the doors (arms the alarm) and rolls up the windows.

The bracket is only temporary... the northeast weather is a little too cold to do any fiberglassing so a quick plastic plate was made for now.

Its the Toyota / Lexus button.
There isn't any type of write-up as I was in a little bit of a time constraint when putting it in, but it's an Advanced Keys 104-B integrated with a Compustar 6000AS. The Compustar has 2 wired arm / disarm inputs so I connected the door lock outputs of the AK104B to the arm / disarm inputs of the Compustar. So the AK lock / unlock signals go directly to the Compustar which then arms / disarms and locks / unlocks the doors. A separate window module works off the Compustar ground when armed wire to roll up automatically when armed and off one of the additional channels for roll down. Right now it is only for the 2 front windows, but I rarely ever do anything with the rear windows so there is no sense in getting another module. I am a retailer of both systems but I don't want to break any advertising rules on here so if you are interested and in the upstate NY area, message me.... they are not cheap though. lol

WOAH that's legit on an 04! Can't believe it. I have an 03 WRX and I feel as though I may as well have manual door locks. The auto door locks are useless! I hate carrying around a remote so I only carry around a key, but the key only unlocks one door at a time. My moms 1995 crv unlocks and locks all doors at the same. C'mon subaru!

I know I know painting isn't unique. But I haven't seen anyone do this besides powder coating. Its all hand painted.

This. It's different, in a good way. Is there a theme with the rest of the car, or is this the start? And it doesn't seem ricey like when people paint there interior trim. Hurry up and get them finished and install them.

^not really a theme just an on going obsession with trying to be different. I have painted many many things on my cars over the years and after about a month I get sick of it or realize how ricey it is. The only think that I might have match would be a set of samco hoses

How do the cupholders compare to the Impreza's? I don't like the cupholders in my OBS. I think they are too small and not in a very good location. I was batting around the idea of trying to swap them out for the Legacy or STI type.

Lol, yeah I can understand that. I've thought about so many cosmetic things over the past 2 years and the rice factor always discourages me. On that note though, I dig those Samco hoses a little bit. Mainly the flame one, reminds me of my ink a little bit.

Its absolutely genius isn't it? Would love to have this in my own ride, but I wouldn't know how to do all that wiring and whatnot.

i'd rock the white camo ones for sure... you'd have to clean them ALL the time though.

This center console came with the rear cup holders, and like a small removable clip that goes in the front area to work as a divider when placing cups there. I removed that clip and use the front area as storage. I normally use the rear cup holders and the ones in the door panels because having cups in the front area becomes a problem when shifting.
