Oh wow. Very unique. Good job. I think it doesn't look that great but good job. How is it's functionality? I know those aero mirrors mounted in the stock location are pretty horrible I can't imagine them being farther away. Love the uniqueness of it though. Better then wrapping things.

Thanks, the functionality is about what you would expect from a rally mirror. Though this does point in the right spot and eliminate the blind spot since it's convex. Thankfully I got it right on the first try as there is no adjustment.

Yeah, for now I plan tint, sways, and getting it to tip top shape. A turbo swap is in the future too, but it'll be a while yet.

I didn't mean basic mods. lol more custom stuff. Usually guys who builds stuff like that enjoys doing other things that are one off like. Some people have the eye and know how to do things like that. It's not like wrapping car parts.

Since installing an FMIC I've been looking for a way to block the gaping scoop in the hood on my 2011 WRX. I don't want to deal with an aftermarket hood and the integrated scoop can't simply be deleted like older models so I made a custom scoop delete + vented scoop insert out of a stock scoop insert. I still need to attach the grill, and I have a plate for underneath the scoop that will help direct air up and out of the opening. I also have to cut the hood under the scoop which should be a pretty scary undertaking

Why do you even need a boost gauge? What is it really going to do for you if you over boost? I thought that's why you get tuned

???

Good way to keep an eye on things,make sure you're reaching your target boost, and also to check if you may have a leak, you can diagnose a decent amount of engine related issues by how the vacuums reading

I have one as a, "If things go wrong this will be a key indicator". If my boost is spiking, not hitting target boost, or just generally acting weird there isn't a indicator light on my dash. Any time someone else or I mess with a car I like to have something to see if things are acting weird.

I really like this idea. Can't wait to see pics of it complete have been thinking Of doing something similar.

Lol Platin here in the states the things you consider mundane about your car are rare. Your fogs, hood, grill, even headlights are not readily available.

looks like a sleeper, except my car has no power
