Default I need to have my exhaust welded...any good shops in NJ??

The exhaust hanger on the midpipe of my GReddy EVO cat-back broke off. I know it's under a 3yr warranty...but after $40 shipping and 2 to 4 weeks of waiting---I'm not sure if it's worth all that hassle. Besides, the dealer I bought it from is in CA too. I'd have to send there...then they'd send to GReddy..etc. etc. etc. it's just a problem waiting to happen..

Any recommendations for a place that does excellent welding at a reasonable price?? ...In or near Central NJ??

BTW: here is what happened....
Can this mild steel be welded again at this location?? would it hold well?

I work at an exhaust shop in south Jersey, but I think you'd be better off getting that midpipe replaced under warrenty

Also, it looks like your urethane hangers might be responsible for that failure. Did Greddy provide those hangers? I don't know, but maybe Greddy would be reluctant to warrentee it if they see those pics.

I sent the pic to GReddy via email. They gave me the go ahead to ship back the exhaust to the vendor. I've had those hangers on for months... I'm pretty sure that it wasn't the cause. During that bad storm a couple of weeks ago I was dodging fallen trees on a highway and driving through flooded streets. It may have been more of a extreme hot pipe/ cold water issue but I don't doubt the extra rigidity from the hangers helped anything...
