I love Borla exhausts. Had a Borla cat-back on my last car and it sounded great!

That's a nice mod. Any detail on how this can be done.

Any word on whether it improves performance at all?

When I was running flapatax (my father runs it now as I can't because of my new job), I had very few people complain about that happening. Honestly, I am not sure why people were having problems like that. I have a lowered car and scrap a bit, but not once in the 4.5 years and 90k miles did I ever rip a single mudflap off. Even in heavy snowstorms doing reverse donuts at full lock. I had no secret mounting hardware from the customers. So when I would get emails like this I would be kind of puzzled. The only way it is feasible to easily rip ANY mudflap off is reversing and having the mudflap fold towards the tire and the tire grabs the flap from friction and rips it off.

Havent had a problem with my flapatax.

Im a little worried about ripping off during heavy snowfall. I can picture the wheel well filling with snow and getting into the vacant space behind the flap from above. The fastener heads are not very wide and almost fit through the washer.

Agreed! Keep it reasonably quiet, price it around $300 and take my damn money!

Loved my old Borla Hush that I had on my WRX...

Your butt dyno may fool you into thinking otherwise, but I can guarantee that there will be about zero performance gain. It is basically just a noise-maker (albeit a very nice noise-maker) and a little bit of bling. Unfortunately that amount of bling will be very small because of the way that our tailpipes and bumper covers are oriented.

All that said, I would be first in line for one at a price of around $300. Much above that and it is really not worth it IMHO...

Ill ask about performance. Doubt it but its better than piecing together parts from other exhausts to get what you want.

So, how are they? How much did you pay? I'd imagine the firmest setting is pretty harsh, but what about the softest setting?

The local exhaust shop here will weld up a "turbo" muffler and mount it for <$100.

Dijm8,

Can you post the part number and maybe a link for the coilovers?
The only ones I've been able to find with google search are these:

Update on Cusco coils or ban. lol

And any more info on the Blitz setup?

I'm really thinking mine would look great dropped a bit on coils and swapping from my 17x7.5 Rota Attack v2's to those 18x8 Enkei Fujin's in low-gloss black. mmmmm Not slammed, just stanced cleanly.

saw this exhaust on eBay so I contacted the seller asking about it. They said they were able to mount it to their 2012 with no modification except for cutting the rear bumper...we shall see.
