It's dumb. The rear of the car height-wise is fine. The front is stupid high.

But the car is level. Look at bmw's, they look similar. It is just because the fronts need to have space to turn and the rear is well..fixed.

Yeah, I suppose you could look at it that way.

What year is that? Those are factory side skirts you have on, right? Wonder if they fit on the 4dr impreza. I saw them on a few other 5drs. I tried looking of them but can't find anything on them.

The skirts only come stock on the sport models, which are 5drs

Yes I painted them myself from a $20 kit I got at autozone. Figure it won't hold up forever but got plenty of paint to last. Had it for a little over a month and no chipping yet

How far did you need to tear down the brakes to do this job?

Cool

Hi guys!

Thought I'd join in this amazing thread

Nothing big - got a custom muffler installed the other week. Looks and sounds great I think!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=RRku3L-jz6Y

It doesn't sound nearly as loud in real life as it would seem from the video..

Good/bad - what do you recon?

Hat to take brake pads out just as replacing pads. Very easy if you have ever done brakes. Taped off rotor and threw 2 heavy coats on it and put it back together

Every car I have painted the calipers on, I just buy the thing of caliper paint and a couple small bridges. Then just paint around on them, avoiding the pads and such. Just pull the wheel and go. Works for me..

And the OEM side skirt probably would fit on the sedan, but I wouldn't.. If it was me, I wouldn't bother though. For continuity of the "lip kit", the sedan has nothing available. I'd get the lip rear spoiler and the STI front lip. But that's just me..

I had the fog surrounds professionally sprayed. Looks much better in my opinion.

It was free when I had my bumper replaced. I was driving along the highway and a part (looked like an 8" metal cone) fell off the back of a truck in front of me and took a chunk out of my bumper. So not free I guess.
