I did the H11 to H9 headlight conversion. It lasted exactly 10 months. Time to buy a wire harness so I don't have to keep modifying the bulbs.

Make your own. Dorman makes really nice H9 ends you can probably but locally for cheaper then online. And just use some H11 male ends off eBay.

Averagewhiteboy, Putco brake lights will be here today. If I don't install them this afternoon, they'll definitely be done tomorrow :-)

OK, so it looks like to use regular 7443 bulbs you need to do this. I'll try again tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Yea it sucks. Had these super bright parking lights and they blew out fast. It's a huge pain to replace those.

Yeah, replacing the "eyebrows" kinda sucks. I went from stock to LED white ones, now just amber halogen. The amber looks great FYI..

Where did you get them and how long have you had them? Do you remove the grille to install them? I have been doing that.

Looking at the link, changing the leads is the last thing I should do. Ima try to round up some of the correct 7443ck.

Awb, it's more that they just don't like incorrect bulbs.

I just stick my long fingers in the sides of the fenders at the front top where you can see the bulb extension plasticy thing and poke to remove. Then jiggle in, replace bulb, jiggle back in and do the reverse to reinstall. You may need a socket extension or something to poke it, but it's doable without removing anything.. Done it twice that way.

What kind of amber halogens and got any pics? And I have no idea how the eyesbrows can be changed. I bought silverstars to match the headlights and have tried to install them 3 different times and am clueless haha.

Pop off the black trim pieces that run along the fenders under the hood (like 3 pop clips each). Use a butter knife or longish flathead screwdriver to turn the bulb socket by the light grey slot at the back of it. The bulb will release from the housing and be free to be changed.

Props to JDMSTA for the guidance.. I kno its wicked simple but I didn't realize how much easier access would be from behind those trim pieces. Live and learn.

Take pics of the finished look!
