I agree unless there is a kit with a matching front sway bar.

It looks nothing like the ebay pictures for the posting, the colour scheme is better this way. How long did it take to ship? It has been a couple of days already and my order still hasn't been shipped out yet.

Installation is a direct bolt on, with no drilling required?

Ohh i forgot to give some feedback.
The steering and the front suspension it's more stiff, i like that. On the curve you can take more and more speed, the handling it's wow. It's a must who want to feel the road and be connected. You will feel immediatly the difference.

I ordered 14 july and receive it 20 July, very fast shipping and no more fees for Canada 197$ and the shipping it's free. The strut bar it's well wrap, the paint it's well done too.

It's direct bolt on, just unscrew 3 bolts (17mm) on each side. Put the strut bar, re-bolt all the screw and bolt the screw on the each side from the strut bar. Take your time 15-20mins maximum.

Have you also upgraded your rear anti-sway bar, or is your car still stock in that regard? If you haven't upgraded your rear anti-sway bar yet, do you plan to?

With regard to handling, is the car more prone to understeer now? What is the entry speed on a left hand turn before installation and after? I just want to assess the increase in performance. Thanks, looks awesome.

If you go to techinfo.subaru.com you can grab the installation instructions for the fog light kit (for free). It doesn't show the bulbs, but it might point you in the right direction.

From http://techinfo.subaru.com select online reference, and then accessory installation guide for publication type. Put in your model info and hit search.

Sgoldste01 already helped me out, but I appreciate the suggestion. My xenon white LED's are now in, look great with my Xenon HID headlights and actually throw out more light than I expected. I had expected them to be purely for appearance but they provide a noticeable improvement in light over just the headlights, I'm very happy with them.

Do they throw more light than the original halogen fog light bulbs?

It's probably around the same amount of light, but the colour of the light makes it more visible for city driving.

RSB question....does it have to be '11 STI or could it also come off an older STi? Like an '09?

22mm too much? NOT A CHANCE ON PAVEMENT. Snow or off road conditions it would be less than ideal but on regular paved roads I always thought the general rule is the bigger the better.. it depends on what purpose you're trying to build for. I do suggest trolling the classifieds for a used setup. And there are other after market suppliers than Perrin.

Sounds like my experience when I installed an STB on my G35. This is a definite must on my subbie once I free up some cash.

Not just Sport, but the non-sport Premium and Limited as well.

For sgoldste01 : I'm not plan to install a rear anti-sway bar because it can obstruct my cargo

For FlyerHazen : I don't know what speed but when i turn it's more flat.

I have a FX35 before and i was install a strut bar too and it's very similiar about the handling. It's more stiff.

I don't think you're thinking of the same thing that I am. When I say "rear anti sway bar", I'm referring to a bar that mounts beneath the car, so it wouldn't affect your cargo-carrying in any way.

The part you installed in your engine compartment between the strut towers increases rigidity, which is good for steering feel and control. An anti sway bar keeps the car more flat through the turns, but doesn't do much for rigidity. Also, a thicker rear anti sway bar would reduce the car's tendency to understeer and increase the likelyhood of oversteer. Car manufacturers tend to err toward understeer because it's easier for a novice/untrained driver to compensate for understeer than it is to compensate for oversteer.

Post in your regional forum saying you want to buy a 2011 STi rear sway bar, that's how I got mine for $40 Canadian.

Pretty sure any 2008+ STI OEM rear sway bar will do the trick.

Can someone confirm? I see someone on CL selling their '09 sway bar for $50. If I go to Perrin, 08-10, and 11-12...two different sets.
