I don't know yet which one I'll buy. I may just wait for a axle back or cat back specifically designed for our Imprezas. Considering our car isn't really for "tuners", we may have to wait a bit.
My thoughts exactly. It may be a while till something comes out... if one even comes out :S

But I will wait nonetheless but man, that HKS muffler looks real good though. lol

What about getting an exhaust shop to custom a fabricated mandrel bent exhaust system?

You can buy a front strut bar for under $200. I have one installed.

I don't see it listed there. Do you have to call and ask if they stock it? Is there a part number to look up?
Thanks

What is the point of changing the dome/map lights?

The only one that shows up is a 17mm sway bar and I thought it was a 19mm one being discussed. There is a BRX swaybar listed but not picture or size listed.

Actually, even easier -- Look under 2010-13 Outback Performance Parts. They have a kit put together with everything you need, which was popularized back in 2010 when Outback owners learned the same thing -- that the 19mm WRX sway bar and bushings drop-in to the Outback. In the link below, you'll also see a hyperlink to Subaru Outback installs (myself included). This kit is now a drop-in fit for the Impreza also. When I get my Impreza, I'll be moving my 19mm RSB from my Outback.

I like the softer white light that the LEDs give off and am used to it plus I have replaced all my personal incandescent flashlights with Cree LED units. Less heat and power drain (not that it matters too much in the cars).

Yeah. They're your standard 168 bulbs. Just pull the edge of the plastic lens towards you its a pressure clip and wiggle it out.

also for anyone who cares, I weighed the steel wheels on the 2.0i and the spare yesterday.

Steels were 15lbs minus the weight of the 19lb tire

Spare was about 25.5lbs

Thanks, I was gently tugging on one and it looked like it was doublesided taped to the attachment plate so I thought you had to access it behind the hatch panel..

Its just a foam washer to insulate the plastic from the metal.

Will these sparco pedals work with our impreza's?

http://www.sparcousa.com/product/reflex-shrtnrw

along with this dead pedal?

http://www.sparcousa.com/product/dead-pedal-grip

I really like that aluminum look with the pedals. The black rubbery stuff isnt doing it for me.

Just found a DIY for it. Looks like a lot of work :S

Those look awesome, but that's a lot of work, to the point where it would be worthwhile to buy the OEM metal ones.

I bought 10 of the standard 168 bulbs and I'm wondering what existing bulbs can be replaced with LEDs? Interior lighting (light in the hatch, 2 map lights, and door illumination light) and license plate lights, is there anything else I can swap out?

Keep me posted on how that goes, I'm especially interested in the price seeing that I can probably buy a branded exhaust system for the 2.5 RS and have a muffler shop modify and bolt it on for me.

The car corners a lot flatter now and I can take corners faster than before. The rear sway bar is possibly the best upgrade for your money.

The map and dome lights are the 31mm Festoon bulbs, the glove box already has a led light...Cargo and LP lights are 168 bulbs.
