If I give up on life and get a 2012/2013 Impreza, I will try this for you since I am closer to Canada.

And by "give up on life" I mean when I no longer seek out performance vehicles and decide to calm the eff down finally... NEVAR!!!

you should be fine. the difference is 1 inch in width / 2= .5inches. 42-38mm=7mm, .7cm/2.54cm= .275ish inches. so that gives you about .225 inches of difference in setup. it looks like he is on the edge of about to need a roll or rub. also, depends on the camber gain on this car. but to answer your question: sure, nothing makes look like it wont.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but has anyone thought of swapping out the window switches with ones from a forester yet? They look to be the same, but the switches for the forester all have a red led so you can see them in the dark. Also, IIRC, the forester switches have a passenger side window auto express feature. Not sure if that functionality would transfer though. Any thoughts?

Only the driver's window switch on the driver's door does. At least in my car.

I have added the LED reflectors to the rear bumper and wired them up with the brake lights. I have a VG Sharkfin Antenna on order, plasti-dipped the front grill, added Hella supertones with the blue powder coated surround. Plans are to add a Kartboy or Cobb short shifter. I'm leaning towards the Cobb because of it's adjust-ability. When UEL headers from rallisport racing become available, I plan on getting a set to have the boxer rumble. I need to get under the car and take some pics and measurements since it might be possible that the existing ones for the 2.5i might bolt up with little to no modifications. Rally armor mud flaps are also planned. They should be released soon. Rear roof spoiler and front lip spoiler are also planned when less expensive versions come out. Stabilizer bars and end links should carry over from the 08+ WRX. A few other dress up items like JPM Coachworks shift boot and e-brake boot, different lugnuts, license plate delete are also planned.
Have a write-up on the supertones install?

I recently bought a set of silver 18x7.5" Enkei RS7 for cheap, I'm not sure if I should flip them or keep them for myself. If I were to keep them I would like to powder coat them but then I'm not sure what color rims would look best with a dark grey metallic car. I'm thinking either matte black, gunmetal, hyper black, copper or bronze.

I am also stuck with deciding what tires to get for them, so far I'm leaning towards the Nankang NS-II Ultra Sport.

Any recommendation for a reasonably priced set of all season tires? The Yokohama are crap! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....odel=AVID+S34D

I paid 1100 for the rims, tires ran about 320 with tax but that's my buddy's shop . Nankangs are decent tires. People talk bad about tires too much like they swear they're ballin. I had Nankangs on my volk se37k during my Honda days and people who hated on my tires had POS wheels to begin with. As far as colors on a DGM I would go silver or gunmetal rims. I never care for black wheels no offense to the one who like em just my personal taste. With black you can't see the design of the wheel especially at night.

Continental DWS seem to be pretty popular, what about those?

I like the Continentals because usually they're the lighter tires compared to similar sizes from other companies, lighter by a pound or two per tire.

Speaking of weight, I would love to see how much weight could be reduced from the 4G Impreza. Getting an exhaust without mufflers would save almost 10 pounds. Then you would save a lot with aftermarket wheels. Hmmm... the mind ponders...

I'm deciding between Falken ZIEX ZE-912, Nankang NS-II Ultra Sport, and Continental ExtremeContact DWS. I'm leaning towards the Nankang's though, I'm kind of reluctant to spend that much at once on rims and tires.

That's a pretty good price for your tires, what are they?

The cheapest I've seen so far are $588 USD for a set of 225/40R18s, has anyone seen them for a lower price? (with shipping included because I am picking them up at a package place across the border).

So his setup is still slightly more aggressive than mine. Thanks for the detailed explanation!
