Has anyone bought specific lug nuts with their rims? Or could recommend any?

Aftermarket. What I mean is are there specifics to buying lug nuts for aftermarket rims, I see there are ones with different lengths and obviously different materials so some weigh less than others.

I had chrome McGard SplineDrive lug nuts on the aftermarket wheels on my previous car ('07 Legacy) and I would recommend them. The finish held up excellent after being installed and removed a few times and used through a few Northeast winters.

I agree.

I am running McGards on my '12 Impreza. McGard also makes Subaru's locking lugnut set so I have those installed on my car as well. I too brought this setup over from my Legacy ('06).

Would these be the correct specs for our 2012 Imprezas?

13/16" Hex Size

That set you have chosen is the right one. Great choice on going with black. I have actually contemplated converting over from my full silver setup.

I'm assuming that would be the best price all around? It kind of sucks how the black/chrome set costs $20 more than the chrome one. Would I need anything else along with these lug nuts?

This is my first new car since my GTI-VR6 and you're right, everything little thing you do adds up and there isn't even a cold air intake or exhaust system out for our cars yet. I am gonna order the Hella Supertones next month and hopefully my Cusco front strut brace arrives by then too so I can take a morning to install them.

I'm pretty much done as far as what I want to do. Just waiting for options to lower the car and beat. Unless borla comes out with unequal length header lol...

lol see, i used to love slightly loud cars but, i ruined it for myself with my last car. my race car and my daily driver was the same car. never again. now that stays as my race/impractical/weekend car and this car is my daily. this car is the exact opposite of my other car. PRACTICAL!!!! now im trying to make it more practical with cross bars and roof rack.

Where's that guy that is trying to make his 2.0i into a "Baby STI"? I would never try to make this car into what it is not. However nothing wrong with customizing it to suit your taste.

The extent of my mods are: backup camera, tint, and 4300K HIDs. I think I am done!

You can always get the Headunit from someone used and do it up!

I just went outside and shot two quick pics of my non-ricer HIDs, I am happy with them. It's a lot brighter on the road, and the beam is white as opposed to the yellowish light halogens produces.
