I just ordered the cusco 692 540 A strut bar from autoplicity.com today and will let you know if it fits. 694 540 A is whats listed on the cusco japan site for the new body style but I am not so sure the 692 is any different. I took a chance on it because autoplicity website claims it will fit and they have a 100% refund policy if it doesnt. Every where I checked with for the 694 said it was a 6-8 week wait because it needed to be special ordered from japan and there was no refund for special orders, so if it didnt fit because the japan chassis was slightly different I would be S.O.L.

Like I said I will update if the 692 fits when I get it.

I just want to make sure it's the same as what you've got.

I ordered and installed the Megan Racing MR-SB-SI08FU1P, and it's just not what I want. It works as intended, but come time to add or change brake fluid it needs to come off (aka - interference.)

Thanks,
Jim

Excellent Mitch! I'll wait to hear back. I'm now seeing what you are for the 694 540 A unit. Not readily available.

Please post up when you get it!

Thanks much,
Jim

Part info

http://www.cusco.co.jp/en/parts_prod...4_sport_p.html

horsepowerfreaks.com and rallysportdirect.com told me they can order it but would be the 6-8 week shipping window with no refund. They both told me there is no guarantee it will fit because cusco has done no testing outside of japan due to low demand.

Talking

If the unit pics "uspopo" has posted is indeed the 694-540-A, I think we can safely say it does fit.

Edit: no disrespect, and thanks for the Cusco.jp link!

So u are saying that the coilovers fit our car? I found out from a Subaru parts department that our springs are unique to our car but maybe the mounting points of the struts are the same. I wish I had the money for coilovers.
Buy them and be the first to know if he is telling the truth.

Alright guys, RS-R got springs for our cars. Just call Ben @ rsr and please tell them Mark told you about it. They do have coil covers too. He just ordered mine coming from Japan. Maybe we could all get a better price if we get a bunch. Pic on left is springs and coil over on the right.

Any interest in a intake for the impreza sport???

Well good news
My buddy work in the r&d department for k&n air filters and they will be taking my car in next week for a intake kit for the impreza sport.

It will take a couple months but it will be a legit intake for this car.

I will update with more info as I go threw the process.
