$10 says OP gets a complete Supra front end and realizes it doesn't bolt up to the Subaru front end...which he already sold on Craigslist before the Supra front end arrived at his doorstep.

Someone already put a 06/07 front end on a GC. Go to Google for pics or something, I'm too lazy to look for it myself lol
If someone can get a good pic of both cars at the same angle, maybe I'll do a real photoshop of it... |

I thought you were just bored and wanted to play with photoshop. By reading that 2nd paragraph in your first post, I would bet my house it never happens.

i dont think im going to use nos because i have a friend who has a chevy truck from 1970 that has a big engine in it and nitrous. well we were out cruising to dothan alabama one day and he hit the nos button and his truck ended up braking down about 2 miles later. i dont think it was the nos though it was the msd box but still i dont want to take any chances you know?

If it breaks down dont sweat, Dom and the mad scientist will tear down the block and replace the piston rings you fry. They will even overnight parts from Japan if they have to and get it back on the road.

its not the same engine, Porsche's have inline-5 boxters and subies have 4.0 liters or 5 but because they are rotary it is equal to 2.0 or 2.5L

no its not really 2.5 but it is equal to 2.5 because more power strokes (6) and apex seals. at least that's what my friend Ted told me and hes a tuner Cobb, Tatrix, and utec

Wow, just wow. Dom is from Fast and Furious. The quotes were from the original movie.
In all seriousness, rotaries are basically double their actual displacement. They are 1.3l, and are the equivilant to a 2.6l piston engine. The difference isn't between the rotors spinning around, and pistons going up in down. The difference is rotaries are 2 stroke engines, and piston engines are four stroke. Go to howitworks.com and please learn the basics of a combustion engine. The four stroke per cycle are 1. Intake 2. Compression 3. Combustion 4. Exhaust 2 stroke engines combine the stages down from 4 to 2. Some dirtbikes are 2 stroke as well. You have to premix oil with the gas. Rotaries need premixed as well. Edit: if you guys can't tell, I'm a fan of the magic spinning triangles. Last edited by liv4psi; 01-12-2012 at 01:27 AM. |
