Default OTS Stage 2 + CBE only

Just installed my AP and I'm running Stage 1 93oct map right now.. About to order my catted Invidia down pipe online. I have the Invidia N1 street cat back right now, no other mods.

Is it harmful to run the Stage 2 93oct map if I don't have the downpipe just yet?

I know Cobb suggests TBE and no other mods for this map.. I was wondering if anyone has run it with the OEM down pipe.

Car will be tuned once I order my EBCS and EWG up pipe.. But until then, I'm curious.

Personally I would stick with the STG 1 map until you get a downpipe. The DP is really the most restrictive section of the exhaust so it's the most important piece when stepping up to STG 2, cat backs are mostly just for sound.

Just my opinion

Do not run the stage 2 map until you have the downpipe installed. There's no reason to run it now anyway, since reflashing the map when you do finally have it installed is only going to take a matter of minutes.

That's what I figured but I wanted to clear it up.. I'll be skipping the OTS maps all together once I get everything installed.

Thanks!

Well, you just want the correct map on the car for the mods that are installed. If you are getting a custom tune and the parts you are installing are not supported by the stage 2 map (the EBCS and EWG in your case), then you'll want them to send you a limp map to install just to get you to the tuner.

I don't want to try it just to see what happens... If someone flashed the stg 2 map with just the cbe would the result be heavy over boosting? Just curious

thanks for your support.

Not currently - that stuff is best left to be custom calibrated for the car in question.
