you spraying? or overlays? i had overlays on my old car to decide whether or not i wanted to have someone spray them but never took them off lol. if you do that, put a heat gun or a blow dryer to it with some water and i think a little bit of soap? worked for me.

I got all my supplies from Hi-Tech Paint on E 63 AVE... I got a can of cleaner a can of adheasive and a can of tint for about 30 bucks. Use the cleaner to clean the tail light completely then use 1600 grit sand paper to rough up the tail light, use cleaner again to get ALL excess dirt and shavings off the tail light. Now use the adheasive (but make sure you spray adheasive as evenly as possible and in a clean enviroment) once adheasive is dry (should take 20 minutes) its now time for your tint spray even coats and as many as you want the more u spray the darker they go... I havent been hazed for mine yet and they are pretty dark but leagally your supposed to be able to see 50% of light showing through during the daytime just a heads up.

When I did my wifes tail lights on her 07' Legacy I just removed them from the car, cleaned them thoroughly with windex and paper towel taking care not to leave any fibers behind then I sprayed 2-3 coats with of VHT night shades. I didn't sand or anything and they turned out awesome. No runs in the paint. The tint is pretty dark, darker than I wanted but when I did it I was more concerned about keeping the coats even.

i went spray on my 2011 hatch. Removing the lights and wet sanding and proper cleaning before applying is KEY. Soap, water, 1000 grit, "night shades" SPRAY CAN. My boy owns a car shop and he had some KICK @$$ clear coat in a rattle can that i can get the actual brand tomorrow if your interested, you probably already did your thing anyway. Just take your time, if what you did didnt turn out right, you can mail your set to Unit 6 Motoring near pittsburgh, Little far fetched, but garentee a good job. hope all turned out the way you wanted . Later.
