And I'm going to be picking up new wheels Sunday, so I'm not going to be able to make it...

How late in the day do you all go? Maybe I can show up at the end to spectate. Have to break in the clutch somehow, might as well drive to WV.

Just bought a helmet! Figured I'm doing the whole season, so might as well.

I also can't remember who wanted my old Rally Armor mudflaps; but they are loaded in the car with as much hardware as I had. Should be enough to get em installed at least. Should be. Just look for me; silver 4 door RS, #5.

Good to see everybody again on Sunday.
I tried making the rounds and saying 'hi' and BS for a few minutes with everybody but things were flowing so smoothly, and the cars launching from the start line so regularly there wasn't much down time.
See you again in a few weeks if not sooner.

Photos from Sunday, as well.

Should you order a picture (or 5, ), I'll work through the ones you order and clean them up (dust bunnies, weird things, generally make it look nice and clean) and Smugmug will do the rest. ENJOY!

Great pics as always.
Hope you sell a bunch!

If anyone is on the fence about buying some; do it! I bought a few in the 2010 and 2011 seasons and they all look great! The motion blur and trailing dust cloud made me look like I was going crazy fast when I was, in reality, slow and out of control.
Got a few pics hanging at work and my wife did an awesome job framing and hanging some at home.

With photography, it is getting lucky and being in the right place at the right time. I'm glad I had worked my way over to there for the afternoon as a couple of vehicles made it interesting. Glad you like the photos.

Best customer to date. Thanks for reference!

I'm going to work on getting last year's photos up there, as well. Just going to take some time to go through the archives and reprocess the photos. Hopefully the site will look better and be stocked with more photos by next month's competition.

I'm going to be a student in AWD and I will bring another friend from the DE area too. I didn't sign up yet since I have to install a new clutch on the RS this weekend and it needs to be broken in before jammin' on it. I'll shoot to drive the recommended 500 miles by the 21st but I may miss it .

Pff.

I installed a new clutch in my RS shortly after I got the car. I rallied the next day.

Need more students for April 21st Driver School - excellent for the new and learning driver!

+ AM session we'll talk about RX path to stage rally, background of wdcr RX, why the track is the way it is (sanctioning requirements). And how to drive faster to include picking the right line, braking and turning techniques. Then we'll practice start, gradual and 90 degree turns, slalom, etc.

+ PM session is hot timed laps driver passenger and driving.

+ we are friendly and won't bite or yell, promise.

Good stuff for $40. We start at 9am so be there with a chair.

Are you able to camp there? I was thinking of doing school on saturday and the race on sunday. I'm about 3 hrs away so camping somewhere close on fri/sat night would be rad.

the deal is once you leave SP - say for dinner - you can't get back in. So once you're there saturday you are there until Sunday. plan accordingly.

It takes you 1 hour to brake the clutch in. Just drive it on a city or small roads where you can shift up and down several times.

On the rallycross you only shift once to second (90% of the time) so your clutch will be fine.
