meat coma slowride

I did a llano cruise last New Years, it was pure goodness. Not sure I want to be slow from too much meat in sisterdale. When we do the 3 sisters route, we usully eat at the broken spoke for good quick burgers and such.

I might be heading down from Dallas as well. The only reason I'm on the fence is because I'll be going to Austin again like 5 days later.

Thats like saying, "I've had sex before, and i've gotta do it again in like 5days" lol
I-35 to Austin will not compare to This trip, in fact, my life's goal is to
Never get back on I-35 unless its absolutly necessary!
'Life is what happens on the back roads of adventure', or as someone else tried to say, "the road less traveled?" Now are you coming?

To the DFW guys heading down:

I think its good idea to meet up with the evos and head down together.

The route I am proposing I've driven many times. It is scenic, traffic free, construction free, and lightly patrolled by Johnny Law. The route takes 4 hours at the posted speed limit. I am planning to stop for gas in Hico.

Let me know your thoughts

schedule questionI don't see dinner or Sat. night on the schedule
The route has us arriving at Salt Lick, so I assume the plan is to eat dinner there?
Split up there? Head to a Sat. night meet from there?
Some of the NTEC Evos are talking about staying overnight if there's a plan...

The plan was to end up at The Salt Lick, eat some dinner and split but I am definitely down to go out that night. J Black's on W 6th, maybe?

Hah! Well - I'm a Screaming Eagle (North Texas) and W sixth is far (enough) away from the "6th street" frequented by the younger college crowd so I think we'll be ok.

Just got back. it was a blast. found all the jumps. only had a couple miscues in the directions. This place was pretty sweet on 101.

to be clear, the directions are perfect...I just wasn't paying close enough attention.
Thanks G!

also Pro Tip: If you print the directions, you can opt to remove the header and footer, that way it will fit on only two full pages
