im selling a 1997 WRX ej20 engine w/ trannie. Has approx. 50,XXX miles on it. very good condition going for 1500 obo. PM for pics!

1500 is very fair for that, especialy if it comes with a trans.

It looks absolutely identical to my 97 JDM EJ20G Forester engine...I don't think that's a K.

So much misinformation here.


Ej20g came in the SEDAN and WAGON JDM WRX's. The wagon Ej20g comes with a smaller TD04, the sedan with a TD05.

The above motor is an EJ20K, which is apparent by the coilpack setup. Likely out of a V3 WRX sedan or wagon.

Agreed. There is no doubt that is a k. I work for an JDM engine importer and that is deffinatly not a ej20g.
Notice:
Tall intercooler with a short intake?
The ej20g had the slanty intercooler.

Wasted spark? Ej20g was coil on plug.

Under manifold turbo inlet pipe? Ej20g did not have that they had the big goofy elbow.
