Not sure, I would hope not thought. I haven't done that much research but I don't ever remember seeing an image of a wreaked car on spacers.
I'm sure it's possible but I'm not too worried about it, plus I don't drive very aggressively anyway...

Well then just throwin it out there bcuz of the chance of movement in the spacers it's just extra stress that's what a performance shop told my buddy cuz he wanted his wheels to come out like his fenders

I think it's another Taboo topic that can be debated until the world ends and the nobody will care what oil you use, what size sway bar is the "right" one or that spacers will destroy your entire drivetrain down to your shift knob.

I don't think id try to rally with these on but for my daily driver my spacers, hubs and bearings will be just fine...

I feel like it's been forever since I posted so I'll fill you in on the new project...
Finally getting around to covering the dash in Alcantara. These are just the beginning pictures of the side panels which ended up being a lot harder to cover then I though. There is a tight curve that pushes the limit of how much the Alcantara can stretch but I got it after patients and steam.

More to come over the next week or two

Wow, that is a completely pointless piece to wrap! But good practice I'm sure!

This DIY Alcantra thing seems like fun. I wish I had more time. I really like the look, but I absolutely would never get myself to pay to get my dash wrapped.

Haha, yeah I was waiting to hear that. Even while I was wrapping it I felt the same thing until I had to do that corner. It was basically to see if steam would work to help stretch the material.

Same here, since I couldn't see me paying for the labor to get my dash wrapped. I am doing it myself but without the stitching so the steam practice is something I had to try.

Going for the lower dash this weekend. I found the steamer is becoming really handy for stretching around these tougher pieces.

Overland, just wanted to say thanks for a great write up on the injectors, I used it as template for my install. I removed a few more things but over all it was very helpful.

Great to hear, I appreciate the positive feedback!
I'm slowly working on a couple more big write ups like that. One for the Brembo conversion and one for the Alcantara conversion...
They might not happen until late fall, early winter but they'll get done.

Cheers!

Thanks Man! Those vents are really difficult. Basically impossible without a steamer to form the deep curves and tight corners. It's making the top of the dash a breeze. So far the hardest part was the vents and then the lower knee bolster.

Tomorrow shall be the upper door cards!
