x2. Since I have an '09 hatch, I have the single outlet exhaust (catted turboback) and LOVE the exhaust note. If I had an 11+ I'd get the quad tip TurboXS exhaust.

I can't believe you're thinking of switching from your Invidia! I love mine... Although I have heard there are some pretty big differences and you have more of a drone in the HB... I would say probably SPT, or Cobb?

I have the SPT on my 13 hatch and am a big fan of the note, but I haven't tried any other exhaust systems. I don't get an overbearing amount of drone - just enough to let you know it means business.

After reading the big exhaust thread I stayed away from the TXS only because people were saying it was falling apart after a month or so.

I've have had the turbo XS for almost a year now and haven't had any issues with it "falling apart". It's stainless steel? I got it because I like the look of the tips but I really do like the sound. Nice rumble but it doesn't hurt my brain on the highway. Also can't beat the prices you can get on them from the vendors here.

I've heard very good things about the ARK GRiP in terms of sound.

The TurboXS seems pretty nice, but I think there were some issues with the first batch.

So far my plan was to go with an uncatted Invidia DP and GReddy SP Elite exhaust.

I don't have to pass any emissions and visual inspection so I can use the extra power and the GReddy seems like a solid choice of quality/sound/and lower drone.

I LOVE my Invidia but the constant 7 hr trips to New York are annoying as hell with the drone

Thoughts?

I think that Greddy SP looks really nice. Probably my #1 choice other than price.

the catless DP will be a little most raspy, but when paired with that greddy it may be a little bit quieter. i have a sedan, so i dont have these drone problems

are you going to take it back to EFI for tuning? depending where you go in nyc, i have a good tuner on long island if you want to try that..

^ this, besides Greddy has a long standing heritage of quality products. Does HKS have a model available?

Does your processwest make a whistle under half throttle? I have a PW and Turbosmart Kompact and can't tell if its normal or not.

I've heard the HKS version, I felt it was super raspy and didn't like it too much.

Sweet, thanks for the tip. I need to try to sell my setup first

Nope, super quiet. I've heard of some complaints of that same problem but I've had really good luck with mine.

I didn't read the whole thread so I apologize if you've already posted about this... But have you considered any of the Maddad exhausts? Both the Street Essentials and Whisper have no drone from what I've heard (Maddad is known for zero drone).

They're on the pricier side, but they're beautifully made (speaking from experience with my GD Whisper).

When I go for the tune, I'll be heading to EFI, they know that car really well and the maps they have done for me so far have been amazing!
