For those that were looking for the write-up on the headlights, I finished it up this morning and posted it up on Interior/Exterior modifications thread.

Or, you can click 08+ WRX/STI Headlight Split | DIY Painting | Baking

To me, option 2 looked the most coherent. 1 just looked like it stopped short and 3 is hard to transition with all the complex curves of the wing. I'm still debating a matte black to match wheels or gloss black to simulate paint. Hard for me to choose if I never see it in person haha.

I could throw the quick photoshops in here to better illustrate what I am saying if you would like. Figured I wouldn't since I don't want to clutter your build thread. Also you are 100 times better at PS than I am
Thanks dude, I have a couple versions at home that I've been looking at in Photoshop. The one that looks the best in "concept" is from a idea that JiveTurkey told me. It involves going all the way back and going over the new lip then tuck underneath. That way ties the lip into the wing for a seamless look. I have a feeling the material differences between the molded plastic of the wing, and urethane lip will cause some issues when they are heated since they will expand at different rates.
I'll probably try it a bunch of ways until find one I like in person.

Haha, thanks man!
I wouldn't say trend setter, more like trend write-up(er)
I'm usually never the first at doing things for sure but sometimes the first to do step-by-step write ups for the mods. Mostly because I always have progress pictures of everything I do

Hey jason. Hope youre having a good time at WBM!

I was curious if you had thought about putting an iPad into your car before you bought your current head unit. If so, what led you to not doing it?

Finally got to see this car in person on Sunday. The attention to detail is incredible. Do I dare say that the car is perfect? Lol

It was nice to meet you, we had a nice conversation also. Hope to see this car more often!

Thank you all that stopped by to help support JPM Coachworks and myself at the WBM this past Sunday. It was really great to finally meet so many of you in person and a chance to have a real face to face conversation. I feel the show went really well and I owe a lot of thank you's to a select group of friends that gave my the push to go, I wouldn't have done it without your support.

I didn't take out a lot of time to photograph any of the cars at the show but I was able to grab a couple shots after the show when it was less crowded.

Afterwards we had the pleasure to have: Rsutton, Flex, Jive and I on the racetrack to take some photos and when it was time to head home we had a nice gathering in the small town of Stafford Springs for some food & Beer.

Here we are owning the streets of Stafford Springs

GAhHHHHH, I'm so honored!!!!!

I wish I got to look at the cars more, but I didn't want to be one of those people that opened up the door and crawled in.

Haha, you would have been the only one that didn't.
It was weird to leave for food and have someone in your car caressing the dash with their fried dough covered hands when you returned.

My God! Overland, your car left me speechless at WBM. So much inspiration throughout the meet, especially outta your corner. I did actually have a question for you that I meant to ask ya at WBM but the girlfriend and co. kept pulling me along (though I do believe I got a few solid shotd! WOO) before I got the chance. I was looking at doing spacers (same as your winter? setup) but wanted to know how you felt about them/pros and cons/knowledge and advice. Same as you, no rallyx, autox, etc. in the foreseeable future. Again, SUCH a pleasure getting to see your car

Thank you so much Kirill, it means so much coming from you!
It was an amazing day for me to be associated with with a company that I have looked up to and used as a way to make my car what it is today.

All of you at RallySportDirect were so kind and cool to hang out with. I'm glad I had a chance to meet you all in person and I look forward to the next time we get to hang.

Cheers!

Yesterday I received my order for the HT Autos rear aprons. I have been putting off doing the rear corners of the car mostly because I felt I couldnít find the right pieces to match the S206 side skirts.

After going down to the Wicked Big Meet this past weekend, Iíve realized that there really arenít any good options out there for aprons besides the Chargespeed and now HT Autos. For the most part, HT Auto hasnít been know for making very good products and the ones that I have received definitely fit their stereotype. Theyíre pretty bad. Thankfully they are on opposite sides of the car and itís hard to tell how they are not even close to mirror images of each other. If anybody is interested in the comparison shots, just let me know, I took a couple before I put them on.

The install was simple. They supply you with 2 plastic plugs that you use in addition to the 2 factory plugs that need to be removed before installation. Once you have all four of them, you line up the 4 holes and push the clips back in. Done!

I was surprised how much I like how they square off the back of the car and even though they aren't made to match the s206 sides, I feel it does a much better job than either not having them there at all or the chargespeed ones.

Here are the shots, any comments?

I think they look good in the pictures because it really compliments the side skirts and splitter. Obviously I have no insight how good or bad they are quality wise not having seen them in person, but that plastic rear "diffuser" that comes stock on the hatchbacks always as bothered me as it looks like cheap plastic. I guess if the aprons match with the "crappy plastic diffuser" its better than nothing at all. But with those S206 side skirts, oh man, I can forget about crappy plastic any day haha

I think if it was a matter of them being on display on their own, they would loose big time. Where they sit on the car makes them look really good in person. They compliment the side skirts just enough without being as obtrusive as the Chargespeed aprons.
Overall I'm happy with them and plan to keep them on until they magically make s206 rear aprons .
