So here's the deal with the tires...
Originally when I got my rims I decided to get the proper sized tire for a 9", which is a 255. I've always ran Continental SportContact3's on my Audi and loved them so when it was time to get tires, I found that the ExtremeContact DW's had good ratings and a good price.

When I received the rims/tires, it was very noticeable that the DW 255's ran WAY small for a 9" rim and they were kind of stretched. It always bothered me but since they were new, I had to deal with it until they wore out.

After a year with bad rear coilovers, the inner treads of the tires were cupped an worn out.

Getting ready to put on my wheels again for the summer I knew that I needed tires so I started to research on tires again and found that the Michelin Pilot Super Sports were the best tire available and ran wide for a 255 which is what I wanted. Perfect!
Well, except the weren't available until mid-June, no good...

So, I knew the Continentals ran skinny for a 255 and I assumed that the 265 and 275's would be the same.

Well, they aren't. They are quite wide and their 275's are a big tire!

I don't mind because they are super meaty and should only take a little harder of a roll to stop the rubbing.

It's and STi console and the sliding cover is called "front cupholder" on Subaru's parts department. Also need the "Trim Cover" to go along with it.

If you're interested in the full STi console conversion like I have, I should have all the part numbers needed to do the swap. It's about 11 different parts involved and about $450 (I think)

Cheers!

Thanks guys!
Really miss spending time on the weekends and evenings doing little installs and writing about them on a daily basis. I enjoyed it a lot.
I used my car for a weekend on Easter but other than that it sits in the garage and I ride my bike to work. Not that I want to ride my bike, just too afraid the car getting dented so I don't drive it anymore.

Also still need to roll my fenders harder to stop the rubbing. I'd like to rent a roller but need it for a longer period of time (more than a week) so I considered buying one and renting it afterward.

Unless any has one they'd let me rent for a few weeks!

Took a few images today while I was rolling all four corners.
The 275s fit like a glove

Looks amazing as always! Still don't know why your RCE/Bilestein set up is much lower than other peoples set up. How is it holding up? Thinking about switching from coilovers to your set up or RCE/Konis. It looks like your set up has the stance of the RCE/koni's

Actually...I like those better on your car. I'm not sure why but it just works.

I really love how clean your car is. It's almost as if the scientific method was used for this build.

Oh man, now I did it, haha
I put them on as a joke and now I feel weird putting my black ones back on.

Maybe after WBM I'll put the chrome ones back on for a little bit to see how I really like them. So far I'm surprised how well they blend in. Taking the orange reflector out probably helps too.

Orange reflector and the fact that your car is white. I don't think it would work this well on any other color. The Overland Method. That has a nice ring to it...
