I could buy a brand new block for 1800, with no miles! 1700 seems high for a well used lb. also no idea what kind of where and tear that has seen!

I have a Version 7 EJ207 short block for sale. it's going to need to be rebuilt, honed and such as it died from a spun bearing after 500-1000 miles.
I've already disassembled it. It includes the stock crank and rods with Wiseco forged pistons. Original thread of the build is here: http://www.rs25.com/forums/f145/t704...an-blue-l.html pictures of when it was still together here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n%207%20EJ207/ PM me if you're interested as I'm mostly looking to just get rid of it rather than make a profit off of the person I bought it from. |

I have a 2.5 rallispec shortblock already that has a spun bearing. so id build that first as a hybrid before dealing with something like that. I'm really looking for a good deal on a 2.5 or 2.0 longblock with this thread! Lower miles the better.

my engine is complete from turbo to intercooler so 1700 isn't that bad of a price, has the manifolds, ps pump, alternator, maybe if you want just the block and heads ill go lower on the price.

OP, I know you you PM'd me about my shortblock for sale, but once the motor is in my car I'll effectively have a working longblock to sell. I assume your time table is pretty short though and I wasn't expecting to build right away but if you're interested you could have a working 2.5 longblock pending money and timetable. I need to price out the rest of my parts before doing anything. Just figured I'd toss it out there maybe we can work out the rest of the details if interested. For now, i'm bumping your thread lol.

Well I have no car at the moment so asap.
Also the motor is coming out tonight so I'll know exactley what I need by the end of Thursday. I'm Going the cost effective route but really need something reliable so I'm willing to spend a few extra bucks! |
